The secret metaphor in the story of Samson.

No one seems to have noticed this, but clearly there is symbolism in the story of Samson that should be pointed out, everyone either takes it literally or rejects it altoghether, the truth will surprise you,

The questions presented in the article are good questions. However, the speculations that serve for answers fall short.

The pillars are ancient....even before the time of Samson, they existed. They still exist today.

In Freemasonry they are known as the pillars of Joachim and Boaz, and the two pillars support the capstone of the pyramid.

Thanks for posting that site, im not really interested in the story of samson but the rest of what that site has to say has caught my eye.

Good stuff. There is even more in there. People need to think about all the stories of old utilizing this type of analysis.

Keep another thing in mind... sometimes numbers are close but not quite the real number. For example some story might tell the number 500 when in fact the real number of importance is 520. Blavatsky introduced me to this idea. [those numbers 500 & 520 are just made up by me, nothing important]

Theres too much wrong with this article, it catches on some interesting points, but it is too uninformed. For one, the reason Samson had long hair was because he was consecrated as a Nazirite from before his birth, meaning that he could not shave his hair, drink wine, or any grape products, or face, lets say, reprocussions. He was not the only Nazirite, there were many, the prophet Samuel being most notable after Samson.

Also note: the Pillars that 'Samson' was (according to the legend) supposedly able to push apart were for a canaanite Temple of Ba'al (not a temple of the clan god YHWH) so enough already with the Boaz Joachin stuff, ok?

Boaz is definitely related to the Canaanite aspect in all of this. His mother was a Canaanite prostitute.
