The Crash of Polish Air Force Jet Tu-154

Found this blog very interesting and thought provoking.

The recent crash of the Polish jet is suspicious in the extreme. What are the chances of getting the President, the head of the central bank and military top brass all on one jet at the same time headed for a fogged in airport?

According to the Wikipedia article:

.."On 10 April 2010, a Polish Air Force Tupolev Tu-154M aircraft crashed near Smolensk, Russia, killing all 96 passengers and crew. Those killed included the Poland's President Lech Kaczyński and his wife; the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and other senior military officers; the President of the National Bank; the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; government officers, vice-speakers and members of parliament; and senior members of clergy...."

As most people know, top officials do not travel together on the same craft to avoid just such an eventuality... One can easily imagine that they were loaded onto the plane at gunpoint and flown to their deaths. The question is, what is the purpose behind this murder? From what I can gather, that Polish administration was not in compliance with Russian plans for the country.

When I first heard of this "accident" I had a gut feeling there was more to it than meets the eye.

Sometimes an accident is just that however normally why would all these leaders all take the same plane? My understanding is this is not normal protocol.

Interested in other ATS Member's thoughts on this "incident'.

I agree and if you see the footage of the ametaur video a few minutes after the crash then people said you can see a man escaping and also another video even later shows gunshots so maybe this is linked somewhat?

But i can tell you why they were travelling on the same plane since it was a special day in poland and the president wanted nearly all of his goverment to be there

Could easily use scalar em weapons to crash the plane or just create ridiculous fog and a combination... or just have an accident. It's very hard to say with the evidence at hand but who stands to gain.. russia isn't too happy with them... wouldn't put it past them!

Ask any security professional. You DO NOT do this.

To put it in perspective, even small companies don't do this. If a small company needs to send several important leaders of the company/corporation somewhere, they take separate flights. I've talked to someone who started a logging company, and even with 12 people going on a business trip they did this.

The US government does not do this.

The Russian government does not do this.

The British government does not do this.

The Chinese government does not do this.


No important group of individuals do this. Again, ask ANY security consultant or specialist, this is continuity of leadership 101.

Now, I know Polish people. And yeah, while they're smart, they're also air headed sometimes. Polaks, frankly, can be pretty dumb sometimes.

I doubt they're dumb enough to send 70 government, military and economic leaders of the country together on one trip. That doesn't make sense. There is NO precedent for this.

So you are calling polish people dumb? i think thats called racism

and i dont think you know how important the event was and in poland there is only 1 presidents plane

There is a book called 'Political Education and Democracy' By Tom Brennan, which apparently has some interesting insights into the polish political system. Its very hard to get hold of or find any quotes from, its on Ebay but thats all I can find. It was written in the 70's.

The general idea is that Poland has had a shortage of well educated people, people who would be suited to running the country. (I'm not saying polish people are thick and I doubt the book is..) The book implies that this shortage of highly educated people has led to all sorts of instability throughout the 19th century.

So lets say this was the case in the 70's, how huge a blow is this loss?

Apparently my mother 'might' have a copy of this book stashed away somewhere. It might be worthy of my first thread if I can find it

I think you've missed my point slightly..

What I meant was, if Poland has been putting effort into improving its education system, in order to improve the quality of its leaders, and this has come to fruition in the last X years, then this plane crash would be a huge loss.

If you can't tell the difference between uneducated and dumb then I'm really not sure what to say to you. If you're Polish I guess I can understand why you might take offence, but seriously, you've missed the point.

Lets try to explain this is a self deprecating manner..

I am not well educated enough to be part of a government. Running a country requires all sorts of detailed knowledge.. But guess what, I'm not dumb either.

Your post is most correct, governments just don't do this.

Not saying that it isn't, but it could be sounds from the fire. Its not uncommon for fire to make crackling noises when it heat up burning material. Hard to tell. - GRiM.

Still, it is protocal that "important" heads of state do not travel all together on one plane/ship/bus/car etc.

I secretly wonder if these folks were herded at gunpoint and loaded onto this plane for a mass assassination?

We'll never get the full story on this one.

It doesn;t look foggy at all to me, just slightly overcast. There is a possiblilty that the "gunshots" heard were live rounds of ammo detonating in the fire. No doubt there were armed security agents on board. Does anyone have a translated version so we can tell what the cameraman is saying?

Accident my foot.

Another conspiracy and TPTB got away with murdering 98 people.

Why?

The Polish government bucked the "European Union" as well as Poland has a lot of natural gas............Russia wants a monopoly on the natural gas market. Video below is very good, gives motives.
