Hjello everyone,

This may or may not be a big deal, but when I came home this evening I noticed what looked like to me a perfect formed pyramid with three stars. I've never seen this before, and it really caught my eye. I don't have a digital camera, but I do have a cell phone camera, and I'll try to take a picture, although I don't have the cords to upload them. Did anyone else see this tonight, and is this something common I'm just noticing? Thanks

EDIT: I live in East Central MS by the way. Well I went out there and it wasn't nearly as visible but I could barely make it out. I really need to get a digital camera, this phone cam is awful.

Have you tried looking at a map of the constellations to see if you can pick out what you saw ?

There are a few constellations that may be seen as having a "pyramid" .

I checked those out and thank you. None of them really look like what I saw, but I guess it could be part of one of those and only the three were visible, making if seem like a pyramid? I doubt it though, because when I first came in, it was very clear and visible. I'm searching google now, seeing if I can compare it to anything. I look up at the sky a lot at night, at the same place, and this is the first I've seen of it.

Do you remember where the moon was in relation to the 3 stars and how long ago was it that you saw this ?

I first saw this around 7:45 CST, and I think the moon was to the left of it, which would be south, and was in a crescent shape. Just doing a small search, maybe I was looking at the three stars of Orion's belt? I don't know

Its difficult to see how the 3 stars in Orions belt can be described as a "perfect pyramid", by any stretch of the imagination.

Download Stellarium, from www.stellarium.org, set your location as where you were when you seen this pyramid, and you can go back to the date and time when you seen it. This will show you exactly how the sky looked at that precise moment.

Thanks, I'm gonna download that and check it out. The site is busy or down at the moment, but I'll try later today. Yeah the three stars as is couldn't be a pyramid, but I was thinking one coupled with two of others, or two coupled with one of others. Not really sure, just trying to figure out what it was, because it was the most unique pattern I've ever witnessed. I was even tracing it with my finger, amazed at how straight it was.

there was a period of about 1 month where the brightest stars in the sky above my house were like giant rings the closer to the horizon the larger the ring kinda seemed like space was a sphere that had been horizontally sliced into sections, or like some sort of map or net. i also felt a great sense of being watched during this period. i was in toowoomba, australia. was about 12 months ago.
not sure if these things are relative as the longer you look into the night sky the more things pop out at you, i think this could be a glimpse of our past when we didnt live on earth, when we could know our location by reading space as a spherical map using stars as features.

Triangle UFOs are usually close to isocolese triangles, but not exactly isocoles. (Must be because of some galactic standard created by a non-mathemetician civil servant. :-) )

The lights are often at the vertices of the craft. They are usually like LED lights in that they have a "sharp" spectrum, instead of halogen/star lights with a "smooth" spectrum. One of the vertices is usually brighter than the others.

The lights sometimes run around the edge of the triangle craft.

The interior is sometimes dark purple (or black), but if the UFO is extradimensionally dislocated then the actual hull may not be visible.

I do have photos with a 60-second exposure on a digital camera, but the lights of the craft just looks like stars unless you know what stars should actually be visible.
