I for one don't believe in these lake creatures, I think we have enough technology to detect anything in a lake.... don't we? (sonar, satallites, underwater robot cameras, etc, etc)

heh yeah OgoPogo, nice sea monster he is, i've met him before on Lake Okanagan
I heard a story in the paper last year, a lawyer and his friend were on the lake when they saw a bright whitish blue light hovering and moving over the lake for over 20 minutes until which time it vanished, really spooked them out.

Good old Ogopogo - kelowna's long time tourist attraction. There is even an Ogopogo Hockey School there, and it is quite fine - many NHLers have both ran it and been put through it. Kelowna is a beautiful city in the hearth of BC's interior - the Okanagan, about 4 hours North of Vancouver. As for Ogopogo, you can see him downtown on mainstreet - a sculpture. This thing even got press by Unsolved Mysteries.

I live in the Okanagan. I go to Okanagan Lake all the time (where the Ogopogo is supposed to reside) can't say I've ever seen him but people do make it big deal out of it and many tourists have asked me about him. In souviner shops here they sell Ogopogo shirts, postcards, even little statues...

Appearantly Okanagan Lake is so deep at parts that the bottom hasn't even been found yet, so hey I guess thats a perfect place for a lake monster to live.

Well Ogopogo lives in BC... so I don't know where else it could be "at it again"...

I remember taking a picture of Okanagan Lake when I was there about 3 or 4 years ago, and there was some dark thing in the water when I looked at the picture after it was developed. It could just be underwater vegetation or oil.. but you never know..
