Probably a stupid question here ( I dont really pay muchattention to this topic ) but if this Nibiru planet comes into sight, what about it? Something will supposedly happen or is it just exiting because it's a new planet? or whatever it is lol. x

Like the supposed birthdate of Jesus, nobody really knows, it could have been up to 5 years earlier, or later, than the official date because back in these times most of nobody in the world cared about what year it was they just cared about what point it was in time during the seasons so they could tend to their foodstuffs.

Some theories about the Mayan calendar is, that since the Mayans were master farmers, they used the calendar to determine how to grow food. So December 21 2012, when the calendar 'ends' it might signify some sort of situation that would cause the calendar to be able to be recycled back to its original start date some time after the end date, after, say, the passing of Nemesis, the brown dwarf.

Such advanced peoples would have realized the importance of planetary or solar motions affecting the ecosystem of Earth and would have kept basic records to expect how well food would grow- if times would be colder, wetter, drier, warmer... and December 21, 2012 is the chosen reset date.

Checked it out and it's titled 'Nibiru 2010 Scientific Evidence', but I couldn't find any science in it, it would make a very good post on a conspiricy website though!

The author Gennaro Gelmini is just a blogger and not an astronomer, he even has links to horoscopes on his site.

The Hohmann minimum energy transfer orbit from the Earth to Pluto is 45 years. (Pioneer 11 shortened this to 27 years using gravitational assist.) The Hohmann orbit is a good proxy for the orbit of a body that has an apohelion at Pluto's distance and a perihelion at Earths. Therefore, to be two years out, Nibiru would probably have crossed Jupiter's or even Mars' orbital distance by now. If it is a brown dwarf, it would be easily visible to the naked eye.

Basically, Nibiru would have passed through the Oort cloud centuries ago, crossed the Kuyper Belt half a century ago and would now be in the inner solar system.

This post is for everyone for easier access and an altered/changed post from another thread that provides more information and it's a good place to start for those who are seriously investigating/looking into the possibility of “Nemesis" "Wormwood" a "Brown Dwarf."

Ask yourselves these questions?

Do you feel more qualified than NASA Scientists among others within the Scientific Community?

Do you feel that they are not intelligent enough to know better than to search for an object let alone come up with a name for it “Nemesis” that could never possibly exist?

Theoretically it sure does fit the bill and they have left it at that for now but imagine if they really knew it was there and coming what would they really do?

Would they immediately announce it to the public knowing what kind of possible events could occur upon perhaps something coming this way even for example comets being thrown at Earth? Or would they first further investigate this object and find out more about it before releasing such news knowing that people would naturally panic and the conspiracy forms would reach their peak?

Something to further think about at the very least!

It was only in 1995 that the first brown dwarf was verified/confirmed and since then they have found as many brown dwarfs (failed stars) as they have STARS.

From 1995 to 2010 only 15years 100+ Billion Brown Dwarfs from absolutely (None) Nothing-Zip, now imagine what more could be discovered within the next 15years?

There are roughly 6.8 Billion homosapiens on Earth!

I believe people on this thread should consider both sides of the argument and keep in mind there is a lot of evidence supporting that major catastrophic events have occurred in the past before - depending again on what you're willing to accept as evidence. It's not going to be the end of the world but some events will/can happen.

Directed mostly at Chadwickus: You cannot argue with the numbers, and you did your calculations well. Basing the numbers on Neptune is a good start but I would have personally based them on the speed that a KBO, or even Oort Cloud grazing body, Neptune's size would have. Since, that is what Nibiru is supposed to be. It is supposed to have a highly eccentric orbit that reaches the Oort Cloud. Still, even then, there wouldn't be a huge difference. Just on estimations (no math shown) I would place it near Saturn...

But fact is, we really don't know enough about the Nibiru hypothesis. I have always been intrigued by the possibility of its existence, but we simply can't know.

Even then, amateur astronomers should be seeing something. What, would be hard to tell, if it is in fact a brown dwarf, and infrared scope would be needed. And many people are claiming to see something, but most people debunk them. Maybe they are your amateur astronomers?

But, either way, good calculations.

Why....There are good arguments on both sides, it is our own morality that stands in the way. We all would like to believe nothing in this universe can destroy us, but anything really can. NASA is looking for brown dwarfs, there’s theory’s on both sides that are rather interesting. I for one think the 2012 thing is stupid. But I could be wrong. If a brown dwarf does not reflect light how could we see it, until its right on our doorstep.

Richard Muller of the University of California Berkeley first suggested the Nemesis theory, and even wrote a popular science book on the topic. He thinks Nemesis is a red dwarf star 1.5 light years away. NASA isn't wasting time looking for "Nemesis," it's scanning the entire sky. There's one image analyst pursuing a hobby horse that has nothing to do with your "Nibiru." Why do you keep posting links to articles that take things out of context? Do you think no-one will follow the hyper-link trail or do their own research?

Wow you clearly did not read the previous post well - I have answered you're question perfectly and yes they are aware of "Nemesis" or why would they even have a name for it in the first place?

I notice that you are among those who go around posting on Nibiru threads and you hardly will even look at the Evidence & Facts being presented.

I smell a disinformationst or someone who will not open their mind to believing that anything else in the Universe could possibly exist that does not fit you're preconceived ideas/belief/religion or whatever am I right?

This is a thread about "Nibiru," not "Nemesis." They are two entirely different hypothesis. NASA gives some vague credibility to the "Nemesis" hypothesis, none to the "Nibiru" hoax. I was wondering how long it would take you to play the "disinfo agent" card. You have provided absolutely no credible information. Please refute my Hohmann METO post. When you can wrap your head around that, we can talk. Oh, by the way, everyone who understands physics knows that we live in a four dimensional universe (three of extension, one temporal). You need to start adding dimensions to your pitch. I would suggest researching string theory... it has much more BS potential than quantum theory.

So it seems that this whole Niburu thing is yet another 2012 mess.

Niburu was the 12th planet with ties to sumarian myth, according to Sitchin. He said Niburu passes every 3600 years, and the last time it passed was around 600 bc. Given that info, his claim is that it will not pass again for another 1000 years give or take.

Planet X was brought up by someone named Nancy Leider, of Zetatalk/Grey Alien fame. Claims the greys told her Planet X would pass in 2003.... oops.

She is the one who cross connected PX with Nib. Sitchin denies any connection.


The Web has taken this and run wild with it. Much like the web has taken 2012 and run with it as the apocolypse.

Now we have Niburu.... Planet X and the Mayan calendar all mixed together thanks to the internet. god bless the internet!
