I emailed Laconia PD, hopefully they will respond with a confirmation if whether or not the officer was on scene or not.
Neo, good point about the moon.

Unlikely, Yes. But please do tell.. what is "likely" about any UFO report? I thought your previous post was serious, but now I can see you were just mocking me.

Very good points. I was giving them too much benefit of the doubt in the back of my mind. I originally thought they were more or less traumatized and perhaps exaggerating a bit, but maybe something very strange actually did occur. Seems all too unlikely with a more realistic point of view.

Samureyed.....
I wonder about the "falling for 2 seconds & driving away" aspect.
The equation for calculating height from a 2 sec fall is:
Height = 1/2 x time squared x gravity
Therefore:
1/2 x (2 x 2) x 9.8 = 19.6 meters.
I don't think a car would be able to be driven after being dropped from a height of approx 20 meters.
Or perhaps, the aliens cushioned the fall......
Kind regards

Officer Batstone responded 03-21-10 at 0017 hrs., to take the report from the 18 and 16 year old and look at the vehicle that was damaged. The incident they reported occurred at the Opechee Park, which is no where near Fun Spot as they report to you.
