It's official, we (NASA) will be in charge of all the cleaning that needs to be done in the Russia Space crafts as part of the deal for them hauling our lame a--es into space, yes the toilets also. It's a small price for Space Unity

If you're hoping we're going to Mars you'll be dissapointed. He's increasing NASA's overall funding but cutting funding for manned flights.

NASA: Humanoid robot slated to live on space station

Computerworld - Astronauts aboard the International Space Station are slated to get an interesting new roommate later this year.

A 300-pound humanoid robot, dubbed Robonaut 2 (R2), will be transported to the space station aboard the NASA space shuttle Discovery in September -- one of the final scheduled shuttle missions. Jointly developed by NASA and General Motors Corp., the robot will become a permanent resident on the orbiting station.

It will be broadcast live on some if not all the major news networks.

But I guess that means you need a TV... and cable... and living in the US would 'prolly help.

...But yeah if you have those things then you should be good to go.

Hey thanx for posting that, this is the first I've heard about it.

I've been hearing about robonaut for at least a decade now and around '99 I saw some cool pics and videos of it and they were saying that it would be used to help build the ISS. Here it is over 10 years later and the ISS is pretty much compleated and still no robo.

Glad to see they are finally getting around to doing something with it.

The live feed is on right now, Air Force 1 just pulled in!

If I converted time zones correctly President Obama's announcement will come 1 hour and 11 minutes from now!

After President Obama landed he was greeted then drove off with his motorcade, live video will resume later.
