legal lurker

Hi ATS members. Like most other members I was a lurker for quite a while. Then I decided to become a "legal lurker", and became a member. My first mistake after I found a worthwhile contribution was in placing it in my first post. Needless to say it was deleted, along with all links I placed to it in like messages. I only hope I overcome the ridiculous 20 posts necessary before posting my own messages or contacting certain members.

I'm also a new member and have yet to reach the 20 post count criteria. I also would like to share information i have and message fellow members.

I'm sure there is a way to get your post count up quite quickly

Yeah, I do like it here. One of the few places left to get the real story. Of course, you have to wade through alot of filler.

Hi 1of144k, and welcome to the ATS community. For now, you can reply to any thread in any member forum you wish, as well as send & receive Messages to Staff only.
Once you have achieved 20 posts, you will then be able to start your own threads and additionally send & receive messages to and from fellow ATS members.

Why 9-11 of course. I thought it was mandatory.

I agree i jumped on to port a new thread today thinking id be able to and BOOM denied. Ive been a lurker for ages and a member for over a year before i finally posted. Kinda disappointing, oh well, ill make sure i get my 20 posts in soon enough.

I really think 20 posts is not enough. 1,000 or 2,000 seems more reasonable.

I mean these days 100 posts is like taking out the garbage. Not a challenge, y'know!

Yeah, that's what happened with me. I'm not much for small talk, but the 20 posts is making me do such.
