Hi everyone i just found this on www.earthfiles.com...

I dont know how to insert images on here so i would appreciate it if someone else uploaded it just go to the website and scroll down it's an animal in a cage

Recently this unidentified, hairless animal was trapped by hunters
in Sichuan province, China. The mysterious creature has been shipped
to Beijing scientists for DNA tests.

“It looks a bit like a bear, but it doesn’t have any fur
and it has a tail like a kangaroo. It also does not sound like a bear —
it has a voice like a cat and it is calling all the time — perhaps it is
looking for the rest of its kind or maybe it's the last one.”
- Lu Chin, Hunter in Sichuan province, China

i can't wait to read the full article on earthfiles once it's back from DNA tests
It should be pretty interesting

SpeakerOf Truth gives one good possibility, a Chupacabra, as the pic looks similar. It also looks and sounds like a Hyena /Kangaroo hybrid. Who knows what Frankenstein experiments are conducted globally under dubious research banners.

Currently

Weird creatures, never before seen are now cropping up all over the globe on land and underwater. This could be to do with escalating deep seismic activity, literally forcing creatures from their usual homes. Science admits it really has no idea how many living organisms are yet to be discovered, an infinite number of possibilities.

I don't know what it is, but I can tell it's another critter suffering mange.

Based on its feet and the shape of its head, I'm guessing it's a member of Carnivora. Having a look at the fauna of Sichuan, it's most likely to be a palm civet, or some other sort of civet. It could also be a raccoon dog, but that seems less likely based on its position in the cage.

That definitely looks identical to the texas pics (maybe it is actually from the same pics and just said its China..?)

It looks like a hyena, but I think its a giant rat too, other 'chupacabra' stories ive heard really point to giant rats... human like opposoble fingers, reflective eyes, very aggressive, long tail, etc

Lookingup mentioned a Civet too, does look similar.

I'm pretty sure this is the "A student" answer.

As an aside, the more interested you become in cryptids, the more you learn to never trust anything that comes out of China. And if it comes out of China distributed across public, easily accessible channels and in translation? Forget about it, baby.
