fist the basics......

3 3 3 5 2
number of lines in each stanza

l t o n o
first letter used in every line of each stanze

Now... I think we should look at the stanzas.....

long have many waited
long has there been hope
long now but not hither

time is short
time once eternal is a race
time to find and converge

**all of that seems pretty useless**

old lines in ruin
old thoughts return
old forces converge in anticipation

**THAT'S MORE INTERESTING**
analysis line by line....

"Old lines in ruin"
Possible meanings...
1.) old lines of code
2.) old lines of communication
3.) old lines of defense

"Old thoughts return"
Possible meanings...
1.) we should be looking in OLD things
2.) Whatever we're looking for is old
3.) whatever we're looking for has historical meaning
4.) we should be searching the ATS archives?

****next line seems useless*******

"now you must find the first" is an obvious reference to the first ring

"now among the spheres of colors"
Possible meanings...
1.) planets
2.) layers of the atmosphere
3.) some forrum icon or something.... perhaps relating to the afforementioned

"now among talk of three"
Possible meanings...
1.) assume the previous line suggests it's in an ATS thread and go from there
2.) assume previous line = planets... this could mean Earth (3rd planet)
3.) assume previous line = layers of atmosphere... possibly talk of god (trinity)
4.) FIND SOMEWHERE ON THIS SITE WHERE PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT THREE OF SOMETHING... OR SOMETHING THAT COMES IN THREES.

"now all see it and not notice"
Possible meanings...
1.) not a friggin clue except it's somewhere that we all go on this site (like the main page) but the "now" at the beginning suggest to me that it's something NEW whatever it is.

"now surrounded by the blue the Kilby-spawn"
Possible meanings...
1.) surrounded by comps
2.) ATS is in the internet, and therefore sorounded by comps
3.) Microsoft's default background color is blue
4.) perhaps the science and tech forrums?
5.) Check and see if Kilby had kids (I can't find anything)

that's all for now... hope this helps someone think of something....

you mean this code?
www.abovetopsecret.com...

I found something interesting about it... .it's two seperate parts (before the plain test and after it) and each of them repeats itself once (meaning the first part is written out... then written out again exactly the same.... then there's the plain text, and then the second part which then repeats itself once.)

Actually, the repetition in that code is much more complicated. JCMinJapan has gone to the trouble of highlighting the lines by the number of times each repeats here.
