Thought this might be good for discussion here. I perceive all kinds of implications. Peruse the following link. It talks some about “thought monitoring software” at the beginning, but goes on to talk about some new cell phone tech and most importantly to ATS users some Dispute Finder tech. I have included a snippet below the link.

Link to entire story.

"Dispute Finder" technology that monitors users' conversations and Internet browsing to warn them when they encounter contested or inaccurate information. The software mines the Internet to find instances in which writers have claimed something is untrue. It then uses speech recognition technology to monitor conversations.

I see all kinds of uses and abuses for those of us that are searching for answers on ATS.

It would be a tremendous research tool for finding interesting threads, and debunking others.

If this device will offer accepted proof that my Mr. I'm-ALWAYS-Right- husband is actually wrong half the time, then I will be the first in line to buy it.

I think it's going to be software...or maybe a service.

If you can get your husband to write all the things he is correct about down and then get them out on the web...it will probably prove him correct.

Just kidding.

I really do think this would have to reside in my ATS toolbox if it comes to fruition. Just think of all the discussions we could have here using this.

Another link that describes it better.

Intel

I'll keep searching. There is some source code at this link for the precursor to it. That inital program was called ThinkLink.
