American Citizens targeted for assassination by White House. Ok/Not ok ?

I don't agree with that quote but felt it
pertinent to the discussion.

After giving this great thought here is the conclusion that I have come to.
I believe it is wrong. The reason why I believe that it is wrong comes from several thoughts on the subject. The first is that it is a door that should not have been opened at any time. The means of assassination is prelude to using it as an excuse to eliminate opposition, just solely on the grounds of hearsay. If this cleric is no longer a citizen of the United states, then it starts to open an even bigger door to which no good can come of it. Ask yourself this, can you truely ever be safe, knowing that once this is done, that any foriegn government can use the exact same excuse to do the same thing in your own home town? The policy of assassinations was put on hold and back to prevent that from happening, and it is an agreement that most countries follow to this day. The moment that policy is reversed and its use is authorized, then there is no telling who will do such next or who will be next.
