Waiting for something, anything to happen is constantly wearing me down... my day in a nutshell goes as follows:

Wake up
Wait while toast cooks, make lunches
I get ready for work way too early so.....
Wait for time to tick by so I can leave
Waiting at traffic lights, waiting in traffic, waiting while I drop my son off, wait again in traffic
When I finally do get to the office I'm waiting for morning tea.. then lunch.. then home time..
Time to leave the office...
Waiting at traffic lights, waiting in traffic, waiting while I pick my son up, wait again in traffic till I get home
Wait for dinner to finish cooking.. wait for time when son goes to bed, wait for time when I go to bed..
Wait for sleep.........
Wake up and do it all again....

Now I am pretty sure I'm not the only person on the planet that goes through this every day but how many others actually notice the amount of time they spend waiting... and what the heck am I waiting for anyway?? Am I waiting for 2010 to come and wipe everything out? Or maybe for the little grey dudes to come and take us away.. I have no idea...

I'm exhausted....

Geeze, you certainly spend a lot of time waiting! Life is like that sometimes. S&F out of mercy!

It's that gnawing empty spot, in the pit of your belly... the one that never gets full no matter what you fill it with.
It's the phone you sometimes stare at and yet it only seems to want to ring when you would rather it not.
It's that nagging feeling that destiny was waiting on a street corner for you and you somehow got sidetracked, missing it entirely - and now you and your fate are both wandering, blindly, like lost friends in a crowd - seeing so much, but never that happy, expected face.

In short, it's life. Welcome!

Actually from what I am told from a long long time ago that we spend 1/3 of our lives waiting and 1/3 of our lives sleeping..

So wheres that leave us?

1/3 of our lives doing what we want supposedly, But in that 1/3 we have to work so that diminishes dramatically.. So we only have a short time to do what we enjoy and the rest of the time is sleep wait work.. isnt that something.

"There's only two things I hate in this world and waiting is both of them".

I feel your pain.

The trick is finding something to do while you're waiting. Then you're not waiting anymore.
