I'm still waiting for the real Obama. The Obama the people voted for, not mister compromise! I do believe he has to answer to his corporate masters and I still strongly hate the bailouts. But if he turns to the left and gives the big FU to the conservatives and passes the Alan Grayson healthcare bill, cap and trade, strict financial reform(Glass-Steagal anyone?), and financial reform by november I will vote democrat just to help keep his innitiatives in place.

He angered me with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, signing Patriot Act back into law, acting like a wimp on healthcare reform, the bank bailouts, and not doing enough for ordinary workers. As of right now he would not get my vote, but I am still waiting to give him a second chance.

And is this the reason why negative threads, of Obama are so overwhelmed in numbers...No Obama voters flocking here?

My provocative way to ask a simple question...did i get it right or wrong???

I can remember not too long ago in 2008 when the election was near. I was anti Obama, and I still am. I sounded the alarm. I pointed out the fearful society to come. I posted threads to warn and to try to prevent people from making a big mistake.

I was warned. My posts were removed. My threads were shut down. I was silenced. Only Obama love could be posted on the ATS. Now the site owner can verify this is true. I was told I was too harsh and over reaching.

I say this to tell you that the ATS has been fair to me in that the tide has turned and the people have awoken up with buyers remorse. They are allowing truth to finally prevail. Now they allow "both" sides of the argument, debate, and reason to be heard. I applaud them. Well done ATS, Well done.

I experienced the same exact thing as you.
With every warning I gave about Obama, I too was warned, my posts, comments and signatures were removed.

I still believe:
Bush's third term would still have been better than Carter's second
and..
Conservatively or Liberally! It doesn't matter how your apply the political KY because you're still gonna get screwed!

So now I am forced to ask and comment:

Apologies for the uncalled for sarcasm.
I'd just left Fark.com

Still agree with SectreDC, though.

While I am not certain what you were trying to achieve, I feel that you and others like you would benefit from viewing a video that helps explain why I do not support any collectivism which is just another name for socialism, fascism, communism, nationalism, Maoism, Leninism.

While I believe everyone has free will and can choose and decide for themselves, I feel most don't understand the difference between collectivism and objectivism. To help you and others, all you have to do is watch a 9 min video. If after watching this 9 min video you are not left realizing your error, then you are exactly what every dictator desires in a uninformed and ill-educated voter.

The Fountainhead - Howard Roarke Speech (Ayn Rand)

www.youtube.com...

Enjoy the video and good luck. Thanks for the posting.

which political colour he has

Would it be a safe assumption on my part to refer to you as an Obama supporter from outside the United States? See we don't spell color that way.

If you are from somewhere other than the U.S. could you please refrain from these type of posts. You see, we have a real situation over here and we have enough problems with his domestic supporters. Now YOU come here from a foreign land and are just adding kerosene to our ongoing inferno.

We'll let you know when you can be vocal again.

Thanks for the post.

I think you need to consider the age old adage --- wish in one hand and crap in the other. And see which one fills up first.
If I voted for the FOOLS I would have voted for the O. Thank god I know better.

This is all sweetness and light.
But does not take in to account that if you were one of King George's men
--- Like Humpty Dumpty you can never put that piece of baloney back together again.
The government has gone rouge, Period.
I hope that this is what ATS is comming to realize. I hope!!

I call it the Glen Beck Effect. Glen beck makes a living making people think he knows stuff that others don't, and borders on conspiracy theories. So people get interested and what is the next step? Go to the net. What is the biggest conspiracy site? ats. Which is why it is so right wing.
And there are so many more people on the site these daysso you have people who just resist whatever is popular, even to the point of consistently contradicting themselves, because what is populare or norm, somehow MUST be bad.

In a nutshell, there is an onslaught of drama queens.
