I read this a few days ago on the Coast 2 Coast AM website. This guy recorded video from a plane of what appears to be a man made mountain. You can watch the video in Windows Media or Real Player. He says that if you try viewing on Google Earth, it's censored.

Cam E. shares video shot from an airplane of what appears to be a strange man-made mountain. Cam's detailed description follows...

Flying back from Mexico a couple of years ago I was recording video out the window, bored with the long flight. What I taped was a 'fake-looking' mountain covered in what looks like mesh. I have asked a few people that should know what it is and nobody would explain it. One person I talked to was a friend of a friend who had worked at NORAD. He looked at me after I told him, kind of chuckled nervously and said, "I wish I could tell you," as if he knew what it was but could not tell me.

My guess is that it is several miles long comparing it to the mine. If you look closely, you can see that it has ribs under the mesh covering to give us a guess on the height, and also that it is a hollow structure.

Google Earth provides a street view of the highway going in from the south to within a few miles. I also looked up the exact spot using the same program and they show only images of before the mountain. The time line of satellite photos shows inconsistencies of trying to hide something.

The mountain borders an old mining site.

The coordinates are 32' 42' 04.72" N, 110' 40' 36.39" W. It's just to the west of Mamoth, north-northeast of Tuscon.

The mountain borders an old mining site.

A wild shot in the dark .....

A site where they previously tested nuclear weapons underground .

There is another thread on this topic:

"is there a camouflaged installation in AZ?"

www.abovetopsecret.com...

The consensus on this thread is that it's a reclamation project in the mining industry.

I am curious as to why anyone would think that there was Nuclear
testing done outside of Tucson. They never did any testing around there.
And, underground nuke testing does not leave anything like a mountain
as you see in this picture. That is the remains of dirt and rock that was
hauled out of a mine and deposited on the surface. Nothing to get excited
about in the least.

It's to hide the underground lizard-people that they ran into in the mines when they were making thier(military)tunnels for the high-speed train system that's down there.

Hey there endtimer !

It was a bit of a punt on my part . Considering that i am not a U.S citizen i would not be as savvy with the locations of Nuclear test sites .
Just thought there had been several atomic tests in that particular state over the years and any underground testing would/ may of made use of existing shafts , such as those found in old mines .

As to the ` concealed/covered` structure ..... i was speculation that it may be some form of containment structure re: radiation .

So there you have it .

Ok, that's cool with me. And where did you get the pictures you posted?
Those actually look like what is left after a nuclear blast. These pictures
are not what was posted about the so-called mountain outside of Tucson.
I used to live in Las Vegas and have driven right by the test grounds on
various days they were testing and the pictures you posted look like the
aftemath where the ground sinks into a whirlpool shape. Thanks for the
pictures.

From the few bits and pieces i`ve read relating to the early nuclear tests , fallout from nuclear testing wasn`t understood to be so dangerous .....

Intense fallout from the 1953 Simon test was documented as far as Albany, New York.

The earlier tests done in 1945 were above ground in New Mexico. Some
of the tests done elsewhere were also done above ground. Those
obviously had fallout. The testing done in the 70's north of Las Vegas
were all underground, so no fallout occurred. They were done at such
a depth that fallout wasn't a problem. They just left little craters in the
earth where the dirt sunk in and formed the things shown in your pictures.

Its amazing to me how fast people fall off topic on this site.

Back to the topic of the man made mountain. I'm sure there is at least one ATS member in Tucson that can drive to the site with a camera and check it out...no?

I cant be the only person who sees an open pit mine next to this "mountain". Seriously, are some of you intentionally putting blinders on to not see the obvious??

The "man made mountain" is a a result of the mining operations.
