Strange Use of Numbers in News About California Quake

The above article about a weak earthquake in SoCal is from almost a month ago, but upon reading it, something caught my eye...

Magnitude 4.4 earthquake strikes at 4:04 a.m.
Epicenter is 11 miles east-southeast of Los Angeles Civic Center, and was centered 11 miles below the Earth's surface, USGS says.
The news team that got this story interviewed a worker at the local seven-11.

Coincidence? Is the date 4/11 significant of this or any year? Is there a secret society message being sent here?

Yep, I noticed that and considering today's earthquake happened and it's 4/4...I thought it was an interestng coincidence.
