Possible Meteorite Reported in Washington??

This is my first post ever on ATS. I have been a "lurker" or what ever, just coming on and reading over some of the posts for over a year now. With all that has been going on about the AB "hoax" I have been very intregued to say the least. I just noticed on my AIM news a headline that struck my interest:

As far as i can conclude, the AB postings have turned up a hoax. Does anyone have any input on this small article? Is this part of the hoax as well in the mainstream media?? or just a strange coincidence??
