He is a Democrat and was the former speaker of the Colorado House. He is a die-hard progressive and is refusing to collect campaign cash from special interests, his only money comes from the people. If you live in Colorado please look into Andrew Romanoff.

So is there any people who you believe truly deserve office this november please post their name and why you think they are an outsider who will fight for ordinary Americans.

Yeah, that is all we need, another frelling career politician and a lawyer.

What’s the difference between a dead dog in the road and a dead lawyer in the road?
There are skid marks in front of the dog.

Why did God make snakes just before lawyers?
To practice.

What do lawyers use for birth control?
Their personalities.

How many lawyers does it take to change a light bulb?
Fifty four. Eight to argue, one to get a continuance, one to object, one to demur, two to research precedents, one to dictate a letter, one to stipulate, five to turn in their time cards, one to depose, one to write interrogatories, two to settle, one to order a secretary to change the bulb, and twenty-eight to bill for professional services.

What’s wrong with lawyer jokes?
Lawyers don’t think they’re funny, and nobody else thinks they’re jokes.

I guarantee you would change your tune if you ever needed a lawyer. I agree there are too many unnecessary lawyers but we still need lawyers.

Actually, if I ever need a lawyer again, I will be defending myself.

All the way to trial. Now for purposes of business, still would not need a lawyer. Basic contracts for almost any purpose are on line.
As for tax purposes, frell taxes.

Trying to think of another reason a lawyer MIGHT be necessary. Cannot think off hand of anything.

Sorry about off topic on your thread, like the jokes though?

Then you will have a fool for a client.

What do you call 10,000 dead lawyers at the bottom of the ocean?

A good start.

I always love a good joke. And I too have always said I would not use a lawyer unless I'm in serious trouble. I think I'm smart enough to defend myself in a court of law.

This is where I have my problem. Washington is full of "progressives" right now and look at where they got us. I don't care that he's a democrat. But a "die-hard progressive"? Thanks but no thanks. The only progress "progressives" are good at is progressing away from the constitution. Progressives gave us the Federal Reserve, Income Tax, IRS, prohibition (which was overturned a decade later), Department of Education, Department of Homeland Security, Welfare, Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, and now Obamacare. Everything listed happened in the 20th and 21st centuries. Once again, the 20th century progressives gave us the Great Depression (prolonged it with the "new deal"), the oil crisis of the 1970s, and now with Bush and Obama.... the Great Recession. What's more, progressives think spending more money that we don't have will save us from going broke. Sounds like a problem to me. We need strict constitutionalists in congress.... not progressives. You quoted Thomas Jefferson in your signature. Thomas Jefferson would roll in his grave if he knew what progressives have done to this country (along with their Neo-con counterparts). Let's bring America back to her roots and vote in constitutionalists like Rand Paul, Peter Schiff and a man running for governor in the great state of Georgia... Ray McBerry.
