Great i havent seen strange but true since i was a child Oooohh spooky stuff hahaha. I love to read and watch stuff about Rendlesham forest its what you could call the U.K roswell (just without a crash).

Just noticed in the latest news if anyone's interested that John Burroughs is a feature guest talking about his experiences at Rendlesham Forest at a 3 Day UFO conference (The 22nd Annual Ozark UFO Conference) starting April 9th.

Jim Penniston and John Burroughs went to investigate the craft together. However, there is a major inconsistency in separate interviews of Jim Penniston and John Burroughs. In an interview with Larry King on November 9, 2007, Jim Penniston claimed that he did a 45 minutes full investigation of the craft on the ground, touched the craft and took photos of the craft. However, in a separate interview in Robert Stack's Unsolved Mysteries, John Burroughs described that after suddenly encountering the craft on the ground, "we all hit the ground, and it went up into the trees". The interviews with Jim Penniston and John Burroughs have subsequently been made available on Youtube.

So Penniston says they looked at it for 45 minutes and Burroughs says it flew off immediately, both of those stories can't be true, so one or both of them must be lying, right? Which one do you think is lying, or are both?

This case is a classic with loads of witneses ive found a list of all the people involved in this case..

◦Julia Abbot - Claims to have witnessed a UFO near Rendlesham Forest in December 1980.
◦James Archer (SSgt) - pseudonym for Jim Penniston. This is how the authors of Skycrash referred to him.
◦Chris Armold - Claims to have made the call to Martlesham Heath Constabulary to alert the police about the UFO sightings. Not involved and spoken critically of witnesses and case. Charles Halt says that Armold personally disliked Penniston.

◦Gary Baker - Was stationed at Neatishead Radar station. Says that the radar could NOT have been turned off during the UFO incident - there was a backup too - as claimed by the MoD.
◦Bobby Ball (Robert) - Was involved with Halt in Rendlesham Forest on 27/28 December 1980. He said that the unknown objects in the sky appeared to be performing a grid-search.
◦Gregory Battram (A1C) - Was involved on the 27/28 December 1980. Alerted Lt. Englund that the UFO had returned, in a shroud of mist in the forest.
◦Keith Beabey - Wrote the famous News of The World article, titled: "UFO Lands in Suffolk... and that's official!"
◦Victor Boast - Lived in a cottage near or in Capel Green. He was the farmer who owned the Capel Green field back in 1980.
◦Rick Bobo - Claims to have watched UFOs over Rendlesham Forest from RAF Bentwaters control tower.
◦Fred Buran (Lt.) - He was involved on the 25/26 December. He did not see anything, he was back at RAF Woodbridge. Stated on 2 Jan 1981: "SSgt Penniston is a totally reliable and mature individual".
◦John Burroughs (A1C) - Was involved on the 25/26 December. He was with Penniston and claims to have seen 'lights throwing off an image of a craft'.
◦Adrian Bustinza - Was involved on the 27/28 December. He was with Colonel Halt, but also backs up certain more unusual elements of Larry Warren's story.
◦Brenda Butler - One of the first three Rendlesham investigators, co-author of Skycrash. Brenda still visits Rendlesham Forest today, and claims that strange events are still occurring.
◦Georgina Bruni - Wrote "You Can't Tell The People", an in-depth investigation into the Rendlesham Forest Incident. In my opinion, the best book on the subject.

◦Edward Cabansag - Was involved on the 25/26 December. Although he was on the logging road with their vehicle, he says that he observed an object/UFO with a belt of coloured lights around it.
◦_____ Colman (Cpt.) - Spoke to Larry Warren after he made a phone call to his mother and told her about the UFO incident. A1C Battram confirms phonecall.
◦_____ Combs (Sgt.) - Apparently was involved on third night of incident. Has never spoken publicly.
◦Brian Creswell (PC) - Examined the supposed landing site the morning after the initial (25/26) incident. His report shows Creswell came to the conclusion that the indentations were only rabbit scratchings, albeit Penniston claims that the PC he spoke to refused to write anything other than 'rabbit scratchings' in his report, although Penniston had even offered a description of the craft seen.

◦Edward Drury (Major) - Ensured that the landing site (discovered on the 25/26 Dec.) was investigated afterwards.
◦Charles (Chuck) DeCaro - Worked for CNN. He spoke to some of the witnesses early on when the investigations were just beginning in the late 80's.

◦James Easton - UFO debunker ('die-hard sceptic') who pushed the lighthouse theory.
◦Timothy Egercic (A1C) - He was at Bentwaters on more than one occasion when he received radio transmissions from men in Rendlesham Forest about unusual lights hovering over the trees.

◦Ray Gulyas (Sgt.) - Went out to visit the landing site. His film came out fogged. He recently said that the landing marks could not have been made by rabbits - they were all identical.

◦Gerry Harris - He witnessed UFOs from his house in Rendlesham Forest in December 1980.

◦Dave King (PC) - Visited the forest a few hours after the initial incident. He did not see anything unusual.

◦Gordon Levett - Witnessed a UFO hovering over his home in Sudbourne in December 1980. His dog was also there and was very scared; it died shortly afterwards. Although Levett says the two are not connected.

◦Mark ? - Larry Warren claims that 'Mark' contacted him with photos of one of the UFOs. The images show a series of lights, some blue and green, but is too dark.
◦'Crash' McCabe (Sgt.) - Spoke to Burroughs and Steffens before they went into Rendlesham Forest with Jim Penniston.
◦_____ Medina (Sgt.) - Was apparently involved on the third night of the incident. Has never spoken publicly.
◦Donald Moreland - British liaison officer. Persuaded Charles Halt to write a memo to the Ministry of Defence regarding the UFOs sightings.

◦Munroe Nevilles (Sgt.) - Was with Colonel Halt and others on the 27/28 December 1980. He operated the geiger counter and confirms the UFO sighting.
◦Lord Peter Hill Norton - He became interested in the Rendlesham case, and went on record saying that the Rendlesham UFO could have only been extraterrestrial craft. He asked questions in the House Of Lords about the Rendlesham case. He passed away in 2004.

◦Wayne Persinger - The Deputy Base Commander of the bases Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
◦Nick Pope - He became interested in the case, after working at the MoD's UFO investigation desk. He has spoken many times about Rendlesham on TV programmes, on radio broadcasts and at lectures.

◦Ian Ridpath - astronomer and UFO skeptic. Promotes the lighthouse theory.
◦Steve Roberts - pseudonym. Apparently, his real name is Dan. His story appears to be false and is probably a compilation of all the other incidents.
◦Peter Robbins - Co-author of Left At East Gate. He has done a lot of research into this case, and has spoken at numerous UFO conferences.

◦Larry Warren - Alleged witness to the third night of the incident. Some say he was not involved, others say that his story is genuine. He has numerous official papers and witnesses to back up his story however.

◦Marina Webb - Witnessed a UFO near Rendlesham Forest in December 1980. Was with her husband, Roy.
◦Gordon Williams (Colonel) - was bases Wing Commander at time. Warren says that he was involved in the third night, Williams denies Larry's claim.

◦Malcolm Zickler (Major) - Zickler was involved in the incident, either second or third night. Larry Warren says that he stepped out of his vehicle into a deep puddle of mud, causing great amusement among the airmen.
