ATS alert!!!!

What gets me is read the OP topic again. Straight, simple and to the point. ATS traffic SEEMED to be down. But soon after SO came in and showed him that wasn't the case. So what was a misunderstanding has now devolved into a completely speculative, unnecessary diatribe of off topic posts that have nothing to do with the OP. If anything is not sitting well with me these days, it is OFF TOPIC POSTS. And yet this thread remains, when imo it should have been closed long ago, instead of it being allowed to devolve into this Bash ATS fest.

Not to mention the fact that now one of my threads (which was flagged to the top) is being made out to be an example of this further unnecessary speculation that the quality has decreased, blah blah blah.

I agree, there are many great threads, and" many wonderful topics get very little traffic,"

As far as politics being the culprit, I believe we are encouraged to engage in civil debate in political forums.

How do you have a conspiracy forum without politics and governmental issues, or issues pertaining to the rulers of this planet?

Suddenly the pendulum swings another direction and we must silence the opposition or those who hold different political views?

When will we realize we are all on this boat together?

When I first joined. I would read massive posts. Now...

It's one or two liners of quality opinions. Well aimed but not much of contents!

Actually the work of a couple dedicated forum gangs has driven people off the site!

They make it inhospitable to post on, or do their best to anyway.

When someone disagrees with them, they send out mass U2U’s threatening to retire from ATS because someone trampled on their ego.

They rally their brethren and then go on attack and basically do what ever they can to get people they don’t like to not post.

Amazing this has led to boredom and concern for some of the perpetrators huh?

Anyway speaking of which I did a very nice and detailed conspiracy oriented thread a week ago about the Skull and Bones 322 and the Health Care Crisis.

Believe it or not a member of one of these forum gangs showed up on the thread accusing me of having plagiarized my own work!

Turns out in his zest to discredit one of the forum gang’s least favorite posters he didn’t bother to read the time stamps and realize that my work had been heavily plagiarized by others!

Talk about embarrassing, huh?

There are a couple groups on ATS who operate as loosely affiliated forum gangs, and while they keep looking for ways to get away with it, they are causing people to stop posting, and to stop making creative threads.

It sure would be great if ALL posters could go back to operating as INDIVIDUAL POSTERS and if they get their behinds given to them in a debate that they just learn to accept it!

There is a down side to what these agenda driven and ego driven fools are doing and too bad for them they weren’t wise enough to see that before they started acting in such insecure and cowardly and disingenuous ways!
