Lunar Lava Tubes

Interesting post, but...
Don't forget that geologists studying the surface of extraterrestial celestial bodies assume and guess a hell of a lot, and not even when they come
across a geological phenomenon that seems to have an identical match here on Earth can they be sure in their analysis. They have not been there, they
have done no tests and have taken no samples.
Any real scientist will tell you that guess work isn't science.
Lava tubes exists here on Earth, we can explain them according to our planet's specific geological conditions. On the Moon and on Mars it's a
different ball game though. You will not find the same type of plants in the Amazon jungle as you will find in an English rose garden, and you will
not find the same geological formations on the Moon and Mars as here.
As to the Moon, there has not been any volcanic activity there since more than three billion years. With other words, an entirely different landscape.
The so called Moon lava tubes are simply observations of a (geological?) phenomenon that some think resembles lava tubes, and therefore refers to as
'lava tubes', nothing more.
If you check sources on the supposed Moon lava tubes, you'll find that they're generally referred to as "suspected" or "assumed" lava tubes.
Therefore, it's a stretch to jump to the conclusion that this phenomenon is lava tubes, "as on the Moon".
Personally, I don't think lava tubes here on Earth look anything like the phenomenon present on the Moon, but that's just me with my layman's eyes,
and perhaps you can present me information that shows otherwise.
