Quote from source:
Public opinion in Latin America was outraged by a short clip from a BBC report which was relayed by television networks throughout the region. It shows both U.S. special envoys for the humanitarian crisis in Haiti, former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, clasping hands with the crowd in front of numerous photographers.

However, Mr. Bush is repelled by the hand contact with the Haitians and discreetly wipes his own hand on Mr. Clinton's shirt.

In his defense, Republican commentators have affirmed that the former President is not allergic to Blacks; he simply suffers from germ phobia.

My thoughts on this:

This is hilarious, claiming that he is a germophobe is funnier yet.

I cannot believe that he blatantly wipes his hand on Clinton's shirt, it seems like Clinton feels it and gives him a look.

I had to share this short little video.

Any thoughts?

Aside from the alleged germophobia, maybe the hand he was shaking was overly sweaty. The bigger affront may be wiping his hand on someone else's shirt. No excuse for that.

It could also have been a signal.

Often if I do not want to say something to a work colleague, I will give them a glance, or because we often work in close proximity, touch them on the shoulder, to garner their attention.

It might be that this was Bush's signal to Clinton that it is time to move on, or something else.

If however, it was simply to wipe his hand on somone else's shirt, that's not really appropriate, but hardly something to get upset over...

There's also no evidence at all to conclusively say that Bush doesn't like shaking hands with the Haitians. He simply puts his hand on Clintons shoulder and appears to walk away... that is not enough to pass any sort of judgement.

OK, this is hilarious. Say what you will about the man but how fun is this video. He's a germaphobe and can dodge some shoes. I hope we get a comment from him about this at some point. Id like to know if Clinton has anything to say, it'll probably be funny too.

There is already a huge thread on this exact same video.

Sorry too lazy to find it.

It wouldn't be the first time he's used a human being in this manner...
