I would really like anyone who has a Play Station One, capable of using the 'Boot Disc', who has the games Wild Arms and Final Fantasy 7 to do the
following...
Insert game CD 'Wild Arms' with the cover open so you can remove the CD after you've reached the start screen.
Wait for the 'Start Screen' to appear and the disk to finish reading, then remove the 'Wild Arms' CD.
Insert one of Final Fantasy 7's CD's, I'm not exactly sure which one it was, or if it was multiple.
Get a sound recording device handy, turn the volume way up on your TV, press RECORD, and press Start/Begin New Game.
Then please POST the sounds played.
I wish I still owned such to provide the sounds myself, and may actually reinvest in the old school system if I can find one and no one here has one
to do this.
A friend and I came across this by accident, playing around, and they are the only two game CD's we found at the time to interact with each other.
The sound played can not be from Final Fantasy 7, because I played that game through several times! My friend swears that sound wasn't in the Wild
Arms game either. So it appears to be a hidden file on the FF7 CD's that is unlocked using the Wild Arms CD, and is pretty scary. It sounds like
hell, screaming, moaning, hammers pounding, etc. Gave us goose bumps. We both to this day kick ourselves in the arses for not recording it some how
and making it public... so I ask anyone out there who may still have an original Play Station, and has these games to use a toothpick or another
device to hold down the sensor button for the CD tray cover, perform as above, record, and post the sound clip, please! Otherwise give me some time,
like months, to find everything before I can post.
I'm not sure what it means... but it is very disturbing...
A Gaming Conspiracy?
