Just to say hello

I spotted this nice little message board while trying to look up some information about Japanese culture, specifically a quote which I can't seem to find. At any rate, my usual "hang out" is at www.democrats.com which is of course a political website for democrats. Its nice to find something a bit different.

I plan on visiting Japan this next year, and so I am really excited about that, if anyone has been there recently or has had some great suggestions on where to go while visiting Japan, I would appreciate it. So far there is a little statue of Godzilla I want to find in this little city outside Tokyo and perhaps visit some of the ancient Castles and Shrines. A visit to Hiroshima will have to be a must... and if you have any other cool ideas...let me know.

1. Nikko is very nice indeed.

2. Spend more than one day in Hiroshima.

3. Always use the subways or overland trains, don't bother with cars or planes.

4. Don't play Pachinko.

5. Don't go into "whiskey bars".

Wellcome to ATS I wish I can help you with Japan, I had never been there but my husband spend one year tour in okinawa, he came back eating sushi.

I think you have it just remove the quote mark at the end of the address.
