St. Murpy, Molestor of Milwaukee

StMurphy.TK

NEW YORK — Milwaukee's Roman Catholic archbishop warned a top Vatican office led by future Pope Benedict XVI about a priest who may have molested as many as 200 deaf boys, according to documents obtained by The New York Times, but the priest never was defrocked.

The documents were provided by two lawyers who have filed lawsuits alleging the Archdiocese of Milwaukee didn't take sufficient action against the Rev. Lawrence Murphy.

At won't point will this saying be considered true enough and not Catholic-bashing?: Catholicism isn't Christian. How many more stacks of molestation and "priest rapes nuns and forces them to have abortions" cases does the world need before it outlaws this "religion"?

It's incredible. All the NAMBLA members of the world must be feasting and holding parties over seeing how easy it is to get away with being a Catholic molestor.

Come on: "Oh I repented, no need to punish me." ?

That's all it takes? TWO HUNDRED POSSIBLE MOLESTATIONS? And the devil who let it all go was elected POPE: KING of the Catholic Church.

Great thread, Intrinsic

Goodness ! 200 ??? This makes steam come out of my ears

And taking advantage of disabled kids makes it even more nauseating...

You're right, Intrinsic...For far too long the Catholic Church has continued to sweep the endemic abuse of children by its priests under the mat...

Too often priests have been given a slap on the wrist and merely moved to another parish and allowed to continue abusing children...

Despite recent efforts by church figures such as the Pope to re-assure the world priests who do this will be handed over to law enforcement and dealt with, I doubt anyone is convinced by this and I fear cases of abuse by church officials will continue unfettered
