Counter Strike Cheater Stabbed in the Head by Opponent

A man is now laying in the hospital in China after being stabbed in the head after he was found cheating. The incident occurred recently just outside of a netcafe in China after it was discovered that one of the participants (a 17 year old kid) was found to be cheating while playing the popular game ‘Counter Strike’.

Who ever said that video games create hostile emotions.

People get stabbed in the head for looking at other people. Should we ban looking at others as well?

Cheaters never win. I hope he learns his lesson that wallhacking crap was the reason I stopped playing the game.

well wall hacking or a simple clipping script is easy to write since they released the source. Many of us use our own custom scripts, mine can tag a player so they glow so I can avoid all other players and just hit the same person again and again.

When scripts are leaked their usually blocked pretty quick, private scripts on the other hand never get blocked.

Alot of people wonder why would you use a script?

Let me explain why, playing the game it gets old like all games do after awhile. Lets face it the gamee gets repetitive. To liven things up I decided to make it more fun by picking one player and hunting them exclusively while avoiding their team mates. this adds the element of stealth and planning. At the same time it balances gameplay since i will NOT shoot anyone except the player I am hunting. If another of their team mates stand between me and my objective i will only use melee or grenade. This makes it so there never really hard feelings ya know. when people cheat and kill everyone that ruins the game, its different to make it a more challenging game so in that aspect scripting can work. not only that they should take the ideas of scripters and incorporate them into games.

I dunno man, I'm a big proponent of playing the game it was meant to be played. I don't mind if you play in special rooms where hacking is OK. But for the rest of us who want a "vanilla" game we should have the right to play it that way.

I mean you could play a variation of basketball where travelling or double dribbling is allowed but it just isn't the same. Some of us want to just play the game using the standard ruleset. And apparantly some of us are willing to kill for it, lol.

its not good.. the people who did this were too serious for a video game to realize the importance of life.. Killing 300 people in Counter Strike sure feels good, but to have blood on your hands in real life is a scary thing.. the person doing this must be immature or mentally disabled in some way....

have to agree i want to play the game the way it was meant to with so many people now hacking its gotten annoying and its clearly obvious people are using wallhacks. If you want to hack and use wall hack etc etc maybe go in those rooms that every one has it or allows it.

Regardless, what ever happened to just reporting the hacker and having him booted from the room?

Stabbing in RL shows that someone has now failed to distinguish between the fantasy world and real life, and so likely has other deep-seated mental health issues (with psychosis being the first obvious one)....

some people take games way to seriously and forget its just a game i think people need to get out more...ive heard of people doing 7-9 hour days on those MMO's thats insane!
