Man Jailed for

I've read alot recently about this may i say absolutely disgusting act named "honour killing" i respect that people are from different religions and i do respect anyone from any background what so ever, however saying this i do not respect the act of "honour killing", anybody that has read any of my other threads will know i always give people another chance but this is just too unhumane.
I mean in the link i will use as an example one of the woman's (Banaz Mahmod aged 20) killers was her own father! as the article reads

"Miss Mahmod began a relationship with Mr Suleimani after leaving an unhappy arranged marriage.

Her father, Mahmod Mahmod, uncle Ari Mahmod and a third man, Mohamad Hama, wer jailed for life in 2007 for the killing.

Mr Suleimani was deemed unsuitable because he did not come from the small group of villages in Iraqi Kurdistan where the Mahmods originated."

I mean come on! am i not getting something because i really do hope alot of you will agree that this is an act which actually i would say outdated but even when cavemen where banging rocks on each others heads i believe this would be frowned on, solely because it's just absolutely wrong and disturbing... please i do hope people get behind me on this one! something needs to be done too stop these cowards! x

There was an "honor killing" a couple of months ago over here in Arizona U.S.A where a father ran over his own daughter because, in his own words, "she was becoming too westernized"

I agree with you 100% that these acts are deplorable, and they happen in all corners of the globe.

Since you can't change these "people" [and I use that term loosely], our only realistic recourse is to keep them in their own little corner of the planet by not granting them access into our countries so they can stay amognst themselves and interbreed and kill themselves into oblivian.

It's not genocide if they kill THEMSELVES off.

this is a sad story, im sure it has already been covered here on ats.

whats just as sad is veild attempts at riling people against a certain people (your reply pretty much confirmed that)

As i did actually mention i am in no way predudice to any religion/race etc... you're taking what i'm saying, reading it in a different way completely, misconstruding the meaning then telling me what i think, i have no problem with any other races, but this is definatley wrong...

No just no, again your being totally manipulative, i have friends that have been part of immagration, and no, not if they follow my rules, i'm in no form of power and not once did i say they have to follow my rules, but come on i'm only saying they can't come here and kill people, man, i'm pretty left wing, but there has to be a limit, i mean you're making that if things were your way you'd allow honour killings, if anybody has been disrespectful, it's you, as a poor girl has been murdered by her own family and you're making out like the family are the victims!

It's fine saying you disagree with something, but you respect other's religions. But then suddenly saying that we need to stop these cowards and you hope people get behind you, makes me think differently about what you're saying.

being a girl, i'm so glad to not be of any of the religions that do this.
