Israel won't back down in dispute with U.S., PM says

Jerusalem (CNN) -- Israel has no intention of backing down in its argument with the United States over Israeli plans to build 1,600 apartments on disputed land in largely Arab East Jerusalem, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday.
"Our policy regarding Jerusalem is the same as it was over the past 42 years. We have made it clear to the Americans that for us, building there is just like building in Tel Aviv,"

Does Israel think they have the upper hand in this relationship? I believe its time we send a strong message to our arrogant little step-child and start pulling some of the cash out of their country. Israel is nothing without US backing and its time they remembered that.

Its things like this that make me want to sympathize with the Palestinians even though they are just as guilty of war crimes as Israel and the US.

Nothing new to me .

I said in a few threads over the last weeks , this would happen.

Israel will, and does, spit in the face of the the US, and it seems American's like it.

Boggles my mind.
