How important a person could be abducted by ET?

Do you think the mayor of your small town could be abducted, or a local businessman? How about a member of your local state representatives?

What about a member of the US armed forces, perhaps a corporal or may even higher up?

Just think about it, what if the manager of your local convenience store was abducted, instead of some trailer park resident. That would put the fear of the Lord into them.

I personally think that it doesn't really matter what your occupation is for you to get abducted. It may be more along the lines of the ET's spot you, think your a bit of alright, look pretty vulnerable, so they decide they'll snatch you and run some test.

Think about how Scientist will go out in the wild with the intent of finding a certain species of animal. They will sit and wait until they see one that is usually bit itself and off guard. The Scientist will then tag it or capture it for tests etc.

ET's may have the same motivations.

My personal oppinion, is that it doesnt matter if your Obama or Joe Blow. Dont get me wrong Im pretty sure they wouldnt mind having a talk with Obama, but as for abducting people it seems to be down to certain genetic strains.

Its more common for psychics and other people who are sensitive to be abducted because the 'sensitive' part may lay in genetics. So Id personally take the more evolved strain then someone who has hereditary deficiencies...

The thing about abduction though is that it does not make sense from a scientific perspective. One of the claims is that the aliens are performing genetic experiments by creating alien/human organisms.The problems with that assertion is that humans make for poor models for genetic study since there are no controlled breedings in contrast to what one can do with organisms such as C.elegans . How would they prevent the women from performing abortions?

So EPIC fail on the aliens part since they can't really do controlled experiments.

That's why I call BS on that portion of the phenomenon. Whether people are actually being adbucted and probed, that's not really for me to decide but something is happening to them no doubt. The next question you have to ask is how often does this happen in lets say in the United States and how many incidents are not reported?

I realise that this thread was created just for fun but I personally think that the occupation of the abducted plays no part at all regarding who is abducted.

I suspect that the main reasons for abductions in modern times lie with something that was altered in the deep past, something that was done to the ancestors of those people who tend to be abducted. Perhaps some hidden marker is looking us right in the proverbial face but as yet we cannot know as we have no recognisable frame of reference to work to.

I would hazard a guess and say it is something related to bloodlines or something more specific in human DNA.

Of course I would assume that some of these abductions happen simply because someone was in the wrong place at the wrong time and the abductor simply took advantage of a free specimen?

The latter might explain accounts of what seem to be efficiently suppressed human mutilation phenomena that crops up from time to time from the Welsh Brecon beacons to the South American rainforest?
