Last Tuesday, the Dutch police found a 12-year old girl named Milly Boele, who had gone missing since last wednesday.

By the time they found her she was dead and buried in the back garden of the man that lived in a neighbouring house, a police officer.

The last contact she had with her mother was on the phone, she sayed she would have to call her mother back because a neighbour was at the door.

After this call she was not heard from again, and her parent reported her missing at 21:00 that same day.

Now here is where this whole thing starts getting stinky...

The police did search the houses close to the house where she had gone missing, since she sayed a neighbour was at the door right before she went missing.

They did NOT use dogs.

They did not further investigate on the police officer that turned out to be the person that did it (because he was an officer) the police responded to this saying: we were planning on going into him later.

The Amber alert, a nation wide method of warning people to be on the lookout for a missing person went out much too late, a day later, where it is a proven fact that the amber alert should be given out as soon as possible, because the first hours are the most important.

How can it be possible that the man that did this had the time to kidnap her, kill her, make a hole in his garden, bury the poor girl, and then somehow found the time to have a couple beers while sitting on her grave (this he confessed).

Police has not yet confirmed if the girl had been sexually molested, but experts say it is very possible.

Although it has been determined that the girl had been murdered before 21:00, the investigation and search took too much time, and was sloppy.

I pray for the family and friends of this poor girl, and hope you will too.

I recall to hear a statement which said, They did use dogs and they in fact immediately responded at the officer's house. I heard it on the radio.

Makes it even worse.

I also heard an ex telling about being choked when he was getting to an orgasm during sex. ( why she left him ) The girl wouldn't stand a chance.

It was also on the radio.

I read all about it too. It is soo sad that they screwed up, maybe this little girl could have been saved, if they hadn't made these mistakes.
What really bothered me was that this guy was a police officer. We are supposed to be able to trust them. This will have some after effects, I'm afraid.
My heart goes out to this poor girl and her family. I hope she's at peace now.

Sadly, it has been determined that the girl was dead before 2100 that night, so even before the police was alarmed.

there was nothing anyone could have done for the poor girl.

As for the police stating they did use dogs, that wasnt known to me, must have came in after i wrote this, since at the time i did, they still sayed that had not.

As for the immediate response, they did indeed visit his house, but never got further into it, while they knew the girl sayed a neighbor was at the door.

That's a really strange case, but I cannot really blame the police for trusting one of them.

One question, how did they found her?

He turned himself in, after his girlfriend told him to do so.

these stories completly suck! it doesnt just happen in the nederlands though!

a few months ago, a dude i knew went missing, local police (lancashire uk) went to the last place he was known to be to search, found nothing (the search had been going on for a small while)

a week later the guys family started looking themselfs, and went to the same spot the police and found him their dead.

he had been missing 3 or 4 weeks by then, and basicly, the police looked right where he was and didnt find him!
