a wise use of tax dollars (not)

i didn't find anything on the boards about this. it has nothing to do with any kind of conspiracy, but it is kind of stupid.

anyway, this is kind of upsetting to me. we are in a tight spot financially in this country, we are fighting a couple wars in the mid east, we are having lots of problems with old bridges and busted dumpy roads, whole sections of our cities are boarded up and abandoned and filled with homeless and starving people, but the government thinks it is a good idea to buy five and a half million dollars worth of dishes for us embassies? judging from the past couple of years i highly doubt any politician really gives a #### about the people they "represent". please vote these idiots out of office.
