Lets sack all the important job workers - nurses, teachers etc.

Here is a great video highlighting the madness of the UK with its drive to improve public spending. I am sure this methodology is quite similar to other countries so a good one for all.

Basically, we're removing lots of key-workers from areas and yet we have many, many 'non-jobs' which are just an utter waste of public money (but are not getting cut).

Enjoy..... even if it does highlight my annoyance with 'the system'.

The problem is this gov is not investing in the infrastucture of the nation.. the water pipes leak, we're running out of gas and the power station building plans will not meet our current needs..

The green tech is to small to make a difference, and all the while front line services in Hospitals, schools, police and all the other vital services are streamlined out of existence.

Soon, our only export will be how to create non jobs...

This nation is on a negative spiral that if the gov does not do something creative soon it will only get harder and harder to reverse this trend.

This government has had many chances to create work during this recession, but has failed to take the brave steps needed. We should have introduced a scheme where every house in the country was insulated. It would have provided a valuable service and jobs.

we need to introduce a robin Hood tax on the Banks and get some money back. We cant have the bankers bring this country to its knees. They need to be punished not the key workers who keep the country running.

Well, at least the Robin Hood Tax has been proposed. Maybe it's just one of those small steps into a better future?

Heck, no.

UK's parties doesn't seem to even want to care about our infrustructure or our people - it's just about their economy and they're not even doing it right.

They have had many chances and I believe that due to the decrease in meeting our needs, we will be looking for help to e.g. developing countries.

We're wasting our money and to be honest, I'm now starting to wait for the day when we say 'Good Riddance' to the UK. It's been ridiculed and changed completely.

What you folks have given "the royals" and what we yanks have given our movie stars and ceos could have been decent wages for nurses, teachers, the guy who gets your money coffee, people who really do the real work.

for god sake, will you people, all of you wake the frak up, get some back bone and do what the french did and get rid of all your kings.

ps: I'm of English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh and French descent........the french had the right idea - off with their heads!

Its all just so, so silly.

We create these really weird, stupid jobs - probably because some EU directive says so, or some person in local council etc. thinks it will be a good idea - coming up with these jobs probably took several long winded meetings which all gets lumped on the bill.

Meanwhile, teachers a forced to teach growing numbers of kids on their own without support, doctors and nurses continue to do stupid hours to handle the lack of staff...

but it’s ok, we have a commissioner for carbon-credits, government media advisors etc. etc. “really” important jobs.

BAH. BAH - HUMBUG.

Oh - and don‘t forget our petrol hitting £1.20 by Easter even though the cost of the barrel is $40 cheaper than when it crept this high last year...
