Exactly what I'm trying to say to you. I've met him and it wasn't acting. He Genuinly wants to help. How can you call someone who genuinly wants to help pond life???

This isn't acting... This is politics..

All the best,

Korg.

I honestly don't think you understand. Vote for cameron, be joyful that the conservatives win the next election, when you realize you have been duped and nothing has "really" changed get back to me. Americans who thought Obama would bring change to the American political system are looking back and realizing what idiots they were to buy into such crap. You will be doing the same in no time at all. If you really care about the UK and where it is heading vote fourth party is all i say.

LABOUR, LABOUR, LABOUR oh what have you done.

Once the great party of the working class but no more. Its a shame the left us behind for I now fear the majority of white working class brits will fall for the far-right party THE BNP.

Apart from all you have listed this could be Labour BIGGEST F**k up.

PEACE!

It's not me that misunderstands...

I'm not voting for David Cameron (though I feel he would make an excellent PM) This isn't a presidency...

I'm voting for the Conservative party because of their Policies and I have read and understood them.

This is a monumental difference between US and UK politics. In the US its the presidential candidate that is the most popular that counts... not the policies of the democrats and the republicans.

When the Conservatives return to power whether it be this election or a future one and the policies are then not adhered to then and only then will I and the voting public have been duped as you put it.

Should a circumstanced come to pass such as this then I would hope the voting public would have the strength and courage to cast their verdict in the next election.

If I were to vote for UKIP then I would only be stealing some of the conservative thunder... and I wouldn't do that since I fully believe their policies are for the good of this country.

And Obama even though unpopular has actually made a land mark change to the US in the health care bill... some agree with it some don't but I can tell you that having read about what is planned the health care bill will give a far greater system of care to everyone (actually modelled on the NHS and National insurance scheme here in the UK). Isn’t that what its all about ?? With Liberty and Justice for all?

All the best,

Korg,

You are voting for conservatives because of the EU? You do understand it was conservatives who got us in to a legislative nightmare in regards to the EU? They are not Anti-EU at all, no matter what they like to proclaim. And UKIP are a one trick pony, people with common sense would never vote for them other than to make a point like folks did with the BNP. Many more decent and well grounded fourth parties to chose from.

And no Obama simply handed more power to private insurers. Made sure that everyone in America had to bend to the will of insurance companies. Nothing more and nothing less. The funny thing is that many republicans are shouting socialism, many democrats are wanting socialized health care. Yet neither party gets any such thing, they have been played like a violin by insurance companies.

Labour have opened up the flood gates, yes, but whats not to say that conservatives wouldnt have done the same?
These two partys take it in turns to ruin the country. It doesnt really matter where you place your vote, these puppets are in no rush to fix things. As for the 3rd option, the lib's...Well, i sometimes think they personally make themselves look like a set of tards in suits.
"Ahh yes, we are the 3rd option, but you'll never vote for us."

I disagree, and I recommend that you should look into the differences in policy before you cast your vote.

There is a key difference in how these two parties manage the country.

1. Labour

Labour manage the country by forcing its populace to rely heavily on the state, taxation is high under a labour govenment as they tax to pay for the blanket services. The populace has no say in what thier money is used for, and often a tax taken for the use of one thing such as road tax is not used to replenish the roads its diverted elsewhere. Labour wants you to rely on their tax credit system of take with one hand give back with the other at a rate that means you never move forwards.

Labour government is a passive government - meaning those that do little are rewarded (those that sit on their bums all day doing little or having kids to bump up their child tax credit or pretending to have depression so you can get incapacity benefit etc...).

Those that do more, working overtime or getting an education to get promoted are penalised by a reduction in tax credit etc...

This kind of government is very oppressive and harms the country in so many ways in unreal.

2. Conservatives

The Conservatives reduce public spending and taxes tend to be much lower overall due to not having to prop up failing or unused services. The Labour tax credit scheme does not exist under the conservatives; instead they alter your tax code based upon income and circumstance.

As such there is more direct disposable income available at the end of the month and so the freedom to choose what services the populace uses creates a situation of competitive industry that drives down costs.

The conservatives are a do'ers government - you are rewarded the more you do, and penalised for doing little, such as sit on the dole having kids pretending your back is too bad to go to work etc..

This the fundamental difference between the two parties...

The question is what do you prefer? do you want to rely on the state or do you want to have a fair chance to build a future for yourself and your family??

The conservatives have been in power for more than 65 years over the last 100 taking us through two world wars and numerious other major world events, Labour util its current incarnation has never held the seat of power for more than two elections in a row.

I know who I will vote for, I will vote not just becasue I have no confidence in Gordon Brown or Labour policy. I vote conservative because I want England to be the Great country it can be, I vote Conservative because the people here deserve better and because we can be world leaders once more, instead of a lapdog of Europe that Labour wants us to be.

Hope this helps,

Korg.

I cant help but see politics for what it is, A buch of puppets that sit around talking about nobody else is pulling their weight. I'm sorry, i'm not someone who wants to jump through hoops for promotion within a retail company - Should i live like a poorper because i dont view it nessessary to waste my life making money for someone else? You forget, that all these "Doleys" that sit around all day come from (Not surprisingly) the working class. The working that class that had a school system fail them, Had legal highs such as alcohol and prozac thrown at them and are now suffering from depression and generally living in hovels.
I dont think the conservatives want to help these people. They want to tell them to help themselves and not give them a means to do so.
Conservatives are a party for the upper-class and hard working middle-class.
And when they get into power at the next election, they'll # things up in their own way like they do, then ten years later labour will get back in and # up whatever's left and then PRESTO. one world government. (That was sarcasm, i'm sure the NWO will happen before labour get a foot in the door) There really is no difference between them, they are all on the same side.

Dont waste your vote, boycott the election and demand that a human being represent you in parliment

All the best,

Korg.

I'm really not sure, for the first time in a while, who to vote for.

It was on my mind today....I have voted every year since eligible and said I always would do, as too many people take this right for granted, which pisses me off.

I understand that the parties are seen as similar and that people just don't feel they have anyone to choose from, I often feel the same.
But I think we went through too much to get to the stage where we could vote, to take it for granted.

And when people bitch about whatever new law is passed or whatever freedom has been taken away, and the I ask who they voted for/ will vote for... and they say "Oh I don't vote, there's no point"... It REALLY pisses me off.

You can't moan when you did absolutely nothing about it :shk:

I have voted Lib-Dems for the last few times and Labour once before that.

I will never vote Tories.

David Cameron Is a Snake-Oil salesman and anyone who falls for the Tories' bulls**t is an idiot.
They ruined much of this country before, Industry etc...and I can't vote for them... Labour are just lying assholes who promise to give the public a say in things and then don't bother.

I mean all politicians are lying assholes, I know that... but damn.

I honestly don't know who to vote for this time.

I'm tempted to vote Labour.... JUST so the Tories don't get in

I don't think I can do that though...

Grrrrrr what to do....

A London taxi driver made the surerest point, 'does not matter who you vote for, the government always gets in'.
I read somewhere that UKIP is actually funded by the Tories, wish I knew where I read that.
The Labour government let all those young foreign workers in because British national are approaching old age, British birth rates are dropping, tax payers have to come from somewhere to pay tax for the pensions.

Well I think where British politics have failed is in engaging with the public. I bet if we were to take a poll of the British people here on ATS and ask the question who knows the major 3 parties policies.. You would draw near on a blank.

I totally respect people’s rights to vote for who they feel will do them best but this is not about who will be prime minister.... This is about what happens to the country and that is formed by the party policies.

I personally will vote conservative, I vote conservative for many reasons but the main three reasons are as follows.

1. Labour are like children with a credit card in a sweet shop, and have nearly bankrupt Britain.

2. None of the other parties have ever held the seat of power and so with absolutely no experience in leading and managing the country they for me are a non starter.

3. The Conservatives have a plan that will reduce our deficit while increasing the money I have in my pocket.

Oh and to the person that said UKIP are funded by the conservatives, its not true. If you vote for UKIP however all you are doing is taking votes away from the main parties. If you do that willingly then thats your choice but I this time I would err on the side of caution we do not want a hung parliament, it would totally wreck Britain...

It would mean that no single party would be able to make a decision without collaboration, and if you have ever watched Prime ministers question time (last one today for present gov) you will know that very very rarely do the parties agree on anything.

So I re-iterate if you don't vote you are voting against Britain and all its people. If you vote anything other than labour or conservatives you are voting against Britain and all its people.

So really the choice comes down to this.

Do you believe Labour can take us out of this financial mess they got us into? IF you do then vote labour.

If however like me you are disgusted by what Labour have done to the country then do us all a favour and vote Conservative.

All the best,

Korg.
