That's so funny, I can't imagine coming across something like those guys in the woods! ha.

...Got to give them credit, they stayed "in character" til the last possible moment, and then some.

Yeah, that's a wee bit TOO much dedication to staying in character, lol...

You'll like this though too...

That's hilarious. I guess we are getting some glimpes into their little world. I've heard it could get pretty weird (otherwise known as far-out) and harrowing!

But these clips show the comical side. Silly, yet slightly psychotic.

Hhahahahahahaha... we found him...

I wonder if the other people there had entered one of his competitions from "I wanna be a larp.com"

I'm pretty geeky, and still enjoy some D&D now and then...(not as much time for it these days)...but I can't see myself ever LARPing (thats even too geeky for ME)... Dressing up for Ren Fest is about as far as I go...

The funniest part was that the repo men were a little afraid of the cosplay dorks. I have done repos before and if this happened to me, I would have played their game. I would have stolen his keys with my supreme pick pocket ability and banished him to another dimension. Not to mention I would throw some magic missiles just for sh**s.

larp for those who dont know is live action role play
im not sure how it works but they seem happy playing it which in the long run should be all that matters.

It's basically a role-playing game like D&D played live. My only question is how do resolve a combat? In a game like D&D, etc., you resolve whether you hit, damage, etc. by dice and your character stats. (much like a video game does, behind the scenes)

Not sure how they do this in LARPing, other than an honor system and mutual agreement... (not to mention people look at you like you are from Mars...)

I almost wanted to do a Vampire RPG LARP at a convention once...as at least then, you'd dress somewhat normal...
