I will definately ask about it next week! I spent some time looking at the Baphomet and can see how it is symbolising the dualistic nature of life. It isn't part of any ad campaign and to be honest, if i was a prospective client, i'd be rather scared off!

heres another...sorry about angle!

Wow ... curiouser and curiouser

They really do seem to be a very strange choice of artwork to be hanging in the reception of an advertizing company ... and that's coming from 'me' a practicing witch.

Even if the owners of the company are occultists it seems like rather bad practice to ram (pardon the pun) it down the throats of perspective clients. I can see how it would be off-putting (even scary) to people with no occult knowledge ... personally I quite like this second picture ... is that very weird of me ???

I shall follow this to see if anymore info comes to light. Thanks for sharing GG.

Wow.
That abstract goat head(s) drawing with the pyramids is pretty awesome.
Reminds me of a dream I had.

So strange.
Those are some powerful symbols.

How odd.

That is baphomet not moloch, baphomet by the way lady gaga used 2 goat's heads in her new videos and tours and routinely such as rhianna uses blatant images and associated symbols with satan so companies are revealing themseles to the world. artists are more carefree. And yeah everybody else can't see it except for the few. sad state of affairs

Right GG, Heilige Linien, or ley lines,
Back in Britain after the 1920s, though, ley lines soon faded into obscurity and would have been long forgotten but for their reemergence in the 1960s in a new guise. people believed that the trackways were constructed by ancient surveyors physically sightings..

Maybe another way for marking a route. ?? IMHO

Your cigar is in the post
Last year I posted the explanation (linked to ESA) for three objects in low Earth orbit...on the first page of a thread. The thread continued with 'Oooohs', 'ahhhhs and 'what can they be?' for another 5 pages. Even an FSME was overlooked. It happens all the time and likely we all do it sometimes.

Regarding the images. Is it possible that someone with a say about interior design has a Heavy Metal interest? The images are pretty standard for covers and tattoos. Even guys like Jimmy Page in Led Zeppelin liked this style of art. IMO they aren't cool enough or colourful enough for wall displays at S&S.

Whilst Kandinsky has nailed it when it comes to people posting the same stuff over and over again I'm going to say what's been said in a slightly different fashion.

The image linked to in the first post is Batman's new sidekick from the 'Widening Gyre' storyline written by Kevin Smith and known as Baphomet.

Last we saw he was crying on Batsies shoulder asking why his brother had to die.

The fact that Baphomet also appears in 'paranormal' studies and investigations of freemasonry etc. is by-the-by.

It's a character from a Batman story.

Right been scarring the net for info relating to saachi HQ in central London, Its location is significant as its near the Thames and is located next to the London wheel ? Not sure if this is of significance but a step in the right direction ..
The Dragon Project. UK based project..
Points to look for on the map are of the following types, listed in order of importance:

1 Ancient mounds, whether called tumulus, tomb, barrow, cairn or other name.

2 Ancient unworked stones - not those marked "boundary stone".

3 Moats and islands in ponds and lakelets.

4 Traditional or holy wells.

5 Beacon points

6 Crossroads with place names and ancient wayside crosses.

7 Churches of ancient foundation and hermitages.

8 Ancient castles and old "castle" place names..

Cant get a proper photo yet but the saatchi building is near or close to alot of the above..

Well, in my own defence, my last post on this thread was only minutes after your acknowledgement that it wasn't Moloch. Minutes spent on actually checking some French spelling. Also, I did add a little extra to the post and pointed out that most - not all - graphic designers and ad men, aren't as clued-up or, in conspiracy terms, 'clued-in' as people might believe. Many of them are no more than Mac Monkeys interested in how things actually look, rather than what it actually means or why things are interpreted in the way they are. I speak from personal experience: college and university and knowing people actually employed in the field.

No.
I mentioned that the people in these offices might have been doing this to be a bit 'whooo' and a bit 'whaaaay'. I wasn't sure how well the phrase would travel, but the gist is that it's someone trying a bit too hard to be a bit 'different' in some way. A lot of try-hard goth kids, 'notice me' lesbians, and victimised 'playgans' who managed to shoehorn their beliefs and the oppressiveness of Christianity into every conversation and so on, all might come under this category.

Quite a few years ago, there was a television comedy series where a character - a wannabe 'wideboy' - used similar terminology: hence the link to the crafty cockney and my own reference to another character from the same show.

ok so hopefully you've worked out where they are based now...but for those that are interested or haven't found out...

they are based in 'golden square'.... look at the name of some of the older pubs, some of the roads etc.. you'll see that this area has ALOT of history and I think the roots run deep around here

I also really liked the goats head with the pyramid and the other illustrations around the building are alot more depressing, i.e. skeletons with military uniforms and other such lovely imagery!

I think that alot of people on this thread have hit the nail on the head, imho. designers in alot of ad agencies take ideas from rock bands, pop culture, websites (ats! probably), and often many of them will be 'mac monkeys' (wicked terminology btw!) I am really impressed by the feedback that I've been given, lots of great ideas, i'm sure the 'wow' factor also helps make this look like a very contemporary 'with it' corporation... I personally would never portray such intense imagery if i'm trying to appeal to a wide range of clientelle, but then, it's not my reception! but on the flip side... Why not, there's no reason why a head honcho in that headquarters fell upon this artists work because of the symbolism and deeper meanings it held for him and decided to get as much of the stuff into the reception as possible...

Thanks so much for everyone's contributions, you've given me the confidence to put up some more stuff....

on a side note:

I have something that would blow people away but I need help in confirming its authenticity... any digital artists or photography experts please u2u me with some advice, if this is the real deal, it's an incredibly important photograph, and it is original, not some viral image i'm checking out on the web. Thanks again all of you!!!
