I just want to state beforehand, I'm giving my honest and truthful account. It is your choice if you want to accept my story or not.

thursday:
It was about 11 or 12 at night and time was going slow( mainly because i was bored out of my mind) i start to get tired even though i had drink roughly 2.1ltres of cola. After looking over ATS, youtube and a internet radio site for a last time i decided to lay down. As i laid down then began to doze off to sleep while watching TV(some infomertial about 'zoomba').
I was just about on the verge of switching over to unconsciousness and i began feeling hands lifting me up(multiple) on my legs and upper body in a similar motion to moving a patient from a stretcher to a bed. I was brought back awake by the feeling and i knew i was in my bed hearing my tv. I was discomforted by the feeling and sat up in a disorientated slightly grumpy feeling. i felt like both in my room and somewhere else.
After sitting up for a few minutes staring at my feet absent mindedly(sp?) i felt very pin point pressure in the muscles on both the outer side of my arms. i layed down again absent mindedly and looked up seeing a figure before completely passing out.

I want to describe this figure outside of my description because its hard to explain.
It was a tall almost slender figure but it was an outline and the inside of the outline was just a some what darker or deeper colour of what was behind it (my wardrobe and wall. on the off white/cream wall it was an almost yellow-white and on the brown it was slightly darker.

friday ago:
I woke up on my stomach in my bed feeling tired and worn out. I had slept in accidentally till 10 AM. i felt slightly light headed as i jumped out of bed and went on the computer to meet chat to a friend i've been planning an event with. Unfortunately they weren't awake so i went to take care of my ferret and eat.
3:45 PM after eating and playing with my ferret a little i began to feel ill, i took a second tablet(doctor orders) and ate some more food to go with the tablet.
From 4:20 PM to 10:00 PM i became increasingly sicker, seeing shifts in walls and objects.(possibly halucinations) i was vomiting and having diarrhea until i had nothing left.
11:30 PM
I had vomited up most of my bile and was severely dehydrated, I collapsed onto my bed and continued to vomit and go into convulsions. in the car i was calm no problems, but kept seeing shifts in things(things flickering bigger and smaller or like something was slipping under the carpet of reality similar to the figure) in occaisional things i was seeing.

I spent the weekend in hospital mostly in and out of consciousness. i was put into isolation as i recovered, nurses and doctors had to put on protective gear. the doctors couldn't figure out what caused or why it happened. i was eventually discharged on monday at roughly 2:00 PM.

I'm still sore and feel like i've been hit like a truck but im recovering. Not to mention i keep seeing things move without anyone touching them. Yes they actually do move

anyways just wanted your thoughts on what happened to me or even enlighten me as to what happened.

being in the hospital with serious leg injury (8inches of my femur was destroyed and they put in a rod with pins and screws to hold it) when i was younger, i know that dealing with pain meds and the like can give you these sensations.

your body alone will feel like ants are crawling on you, everything seems slower, dreamlike. i could stare at a wall, and it would melt away. it could also change colors, or rather like all color drained from it.

once in post op, i could have swore i saw my parents walk up and start talking to me, i responded to them, and the nurse that was beside me (who i didnt even notice till now) asked me who i was talking to, when i looked back, no one was there.

these are side effects of meds.

liquid demerol makes me nauseated every 30 minutes on the dot. after that one time of being sick im fine till the next one comes.

liquid percoset made me feel like someone grabbed my ankles and started spinning me in a circle. which would have been cool, except i tried to steady myself, and it really hurt my leg lol.

diloted and morphine just put me into dreams and reality is just a haze.

were you taking them before or after these episodes?

sounds like a really horrible case of the flu. Fever can give you awful sensations like you are describing. Did they not give you any information on what caused it? No food poisoning or anything?

I wasn't on any pain meds the only 'medications' i took in the whole incident was cortisol which is a type of steriod for hypopituritism(sp?) and the saline salution thing in the Intravenous.

As for discharge papers they pegged it as "Gastro" but as far as i know they never figured it out.

weird.

i got convulsions one time with a bad flu. it was a fever that made me shiver uncontrollably.

flu makes you puke and stuff too, so that might be it?

I've never had the flu that caused me to 'vomit or other stuff' i tended to just have a fever and a bad sinuses.

It could be the flu, i'm not really sure at all I'm just happy to be recovering

If you continue to have the wierd visual effects, I would definitely bring that up with the doctor. Might be something going on elsewhere.

Were you feverish? I once had a high fever and hallucinated pouring rat poison on my cereal. Very surreal.

Best wishes for your recovery!

Very strange. Ive never heard of someone getting flu like symptoms from an Alien Abduction. Unless it was Radiation Sickness... Im sorry for your experience

I don't think i was abducted. even if it was i would prefer to distance myself from that terminology... actually i would like to distance myself from that notion completely.

I will be going to the doctors again soon, Smyleegrl. So i will be bringing it up while at the GP. I hope they do go away soon because it can be alarming when i'm relaxing on the couch and out of the corner of my eye i see that visual effect then i get worried.

Xynephadyn, What would make you think it was radiation sickness? I severely hope it isn't radiation sickness because if it is then other people could of been infected too.

EDIT: Don't be sorry, I survived, endured and now i am getting stronger. No reason to be sorry for overcoming an obstacle.

If I was a mod I'd applaud your for this statement. Well done.

Something to think about. There was a time when I started seeing things out of the corner of my eyes, in the peripheral vision. It was almost like waves of light surrounding moving objects....kinda like a phospherous trail. Really difficult to describe.

I went to see a doctor, he sent me to a neurologist. That doc thought I had some kind of "pseudotumour" in my brain. Had to go through a spinal tap, couple of hospitalizations for testing, the works. Turned out to be a side effect of some antibiotics I'd been given.

Keep us informed of your recovery!

Might have been a bad infection, or food poisoning but it's wierd that you describe the feeling of being put down on your bed the day before... I feel your pain, its disturbing.
