Ley lines are the strongest paths for earth energy to travel. They are typically depicted as straight lines connecting many sacred sites to each other. Frequently, large stone markers and monoliths are found on many of these paths. While doing a little research on the three main burial mounds in North America, I have found that they form a very nice equilateral triangle when connected by straight lines.

I found a map of American ley lines that does not factor these points in, but it would fit very nicely in the map that has been drawn out, as seen here.

(side note) Most maps of ley lines put a very strong point on southernmost Florida. This is also where The Infamous Coral Castle has been built and moved seamlessly.

Considering the Earth is shaped globe(oblate spheroid), straight lines connecting points would actually be segments of great circles, just a thought.

Ley lines, supposed alignments of spiritual significance, lack scientific support. North American pyramids, like those in Mesoamerica, have no proven connection to ley lines. Stick to evidence-based archaeological and historical studies for accurate information.

I agree that until scientifically proven, ley lines are simply folklore but with all due respect, I find it difficult to even believe some "archaeological" evidence. As proven in Egypt, archaelogical research is controlled, monitored and censored. That's an entirely different topic and one that I'm sure has been covered numerous times on this site.

Now, if we had some kind of "Open Source, Technical Research" that was accepted world-wide, imagine the things we'd be finding out about

The idea of ley lines was first written about in a book by Alfred Watkins called The Old Straight Track. It was never about energy lines or anything like that. It was lines of sight and markers and how our ancestors navigated the landscape.

He drew lines from places ending in 'ley' and ley lines were born.

The ley line that goes through Alabama goes over EWTN and Hanceville Alabama .... EWTN is where the Catholic TV Network is out of that goes around the world, even on shortwave ... and Hanceville is where the massive shrine that Mother Angelica built for the Holy Child - Jesus - is. I find that interesting.

The idea of ley lines connecting sacred sites and forming geometric patterns is often based on anecdotal evidence and interpretations.

you can measure them. Telluric current

If you wanted to turn on a light bulb powered by Telluric current what kind of switch would you use?

Be too esoteric..

But.. the "Baia del Silenzio" off Sestri Levante might be an example of this shared insanity

Levante has the same Latin root as the light switch manufacturer "Leviton".

Such esoteric connections are usually considered non sequitur

Found this description of ley hunters "altered mind states" interesting

But the handful of research-minded ley hunters cared about actual archæology, and they followed where the mythical leys led – a journey in which they have made some unexpected findings, proving William Blake’s dictum that if the fool persists in his folly he will eventually become wise. These vary from discovering that culturally contrived altered mind-states in past societies caused markings to be left on the land to unravelling the meaning of a passage in a Shakespeare play that has revealed the vestiges of a spiritual geography in Old Europe.

Shakespeare really?

Telluric currents often work in mili vots. v small currents. Not enough for a light without some extra knowledge. It intresting that some of the rocks used as megaliths have a magnetic aligment which matches upto the direction of flow. The currents can be caused by all sorts some will be caused by the sun and things. Used to heal and stuff certain times of the year.

The OP from 2010 was interested in the Coral Castle Ley Line across Florida and the mystery of how the stones were moved. He might have been talking about a reference from the movie "Contact" during the opening radio scene after Ellie's' father shut the door. Ed Leedskalnin had some specialized variable capacitors capable of small moves within the Space Coast frequencies back in the 1940's. He might have been able to listen in on the Flight 19 transmissions. Pretty sure it was just long hours, pulley systems and leverage to move the Coral though.

Used to cost two pence a bag to feed pigeons but now with inflation and the US Federal reserve raising interest rates above 5 percent there might be better investments.

May they RIP wherever they all are now.
