Today the number is 26 which is down from recent past. As the sunspot number increases say close to 50 it could be speculated that the earthquake expectancy would increase dramatically. So for the next few days it is predicted a lull in the activity. Such a prediction model doesn't give a location though.

Remember this is in the skunkworks, so it is very speculative.

Can you please show the historical correlation between sunspot activity and Earthquakes (and conversely the correlation between the lack of sunspots and the lack of earthquakes) to back up your claim?

I've heard a lot about this, but i am having trouble understanding how sun spots and things of this nature impact us in the form of earthquakes.

Can you explain or at least provide a link so that i can read more about this?

If it were a recent phenomena, say influenced by the removal of oil by drilling, then there could be no historical data.

I am now of the impression that there is an "earthquake machine" in operation. Since I fancy myself a clairvoyant and telepath I can make such claims without scientific evidence.

So maybe it's not sunspots after all.

My impression is that the machine is currently off but maybe will be switched back on shortly. This is a wild assertion. I also have the impression that the machine is not in goverment's hands, it is privately owned.

Don't some people say that Tesla claimed that he could possibly make such a machine?

My impressions lead me to now believe there is an earthquake machine in operation. This is very strange, even to me.

This could form the plot line for a good short story or even a cheezy disaster movie.

And it is a very far fetched assertion.

Does it push deep oil closer to the surface?

I have been hearing the scuttlebutt about an earthquake device like everyone else on the internet, but if someone was doing this, the only reason I can come up with is that it would have to be for money.

What if the character is like a Capt. Nemo, kinda insane. Say for instance the person has a short fuse or no fuse at all.

He stubs his toe, he turns on the machine. He goes to the store and the cashier gypes him outta 1.49 and he turns on the machine.

Or perhaps he is a big shot with an evil agenda like Goldfinger or Dr. No.

Hold on to your hat for this one!!!!

What if the individual operating the device is not human!

But what would the motives be? To create panic? Why?
