It is unfortunate that you, KK and a few others have not bothered to read this thread thoroughly enough to understand the examples I have presented. Like many, you simply read a Thread Subject Title, a few sentences, and begin your 'knee-jerkery'.

My thread was not intended to divide ATSr's over fantastic claims made about Aliens on ATS. It was simply asking the question 'where do we draw the line here'? We can both agree its a blurry one indeed. I cited an example of a thread where such subject matter was taking place, and unfortunately the link was *snipped*.

Again, this is not a question of '..hey where's the evidence?', its a question of 'why do you keep posting thread after thread w. altered pictures of blurry nonsense, and ignoring questions?

May I humbly invite you to explore a very simple option to enhance your ATS experience? I am not being coy nor facetious. Why not use the "Ignore" function toward those posters that cause you angst?

I must say that after a few u2u's I have been brought up to speed on your thread. It appears the reason why many members are mistaking the purpose of the thread is becase a valuable piece of data is missing which makes everyone misconstrood the topic.

I feel that I do owe you an apology for jumping in guns blazing. But I still stand by what I have said and that you are a naughty member, who lashes out at everyone as a form of defense. To me thats naughty.

Maybe it would be better to clarify in the retort to mine exactly what you are trying to say in layman terms if possible.

Unfortunately there are few threads realated to UFO topics here that have any real evidence or credibility and then you get into the reptillian and other types that beleive in fantastic alien wars and conspiracy ideas.
Ive seen people correct each other on what alien species comes from wich star system. ???
It gets difficult to hold your toungue when you read cooooky ideas with not even a dribble of common sense...

KK, you bring up a valid point so I will address it: I am not above learning from any ATSr, even those whom I lash out at, disagree with, or just plain don't like. While it may not always appear this way, I do not view any thoughts from an ATS'r as insignificant. Sometimes those who show us other perspectives can make us better, or even greater.

In the case of the poster whom I referenced in my original post, I have yet to learn from him, as he keeps dodging my questions. Which I feel is unfair to all of us. It would probably take harassment for me to outright ignore someone.

Fran, thank you for at least taking time to fully understand this thread, and a big enough a person to admit where some errors in judgment were made. I am obviously not above these errors either. May I extend an apology to you as well for my scathery. I will make an effort to cool the engines.

No argument from me on this, but that kind of mal-adjusted and ignorant "thinking" is rampant on all sorts of forums. Frankly, reading CL Rants and Raves for 10 minutes is far more disturbing to me than encountering a few crackpots on ATS. THAT is what scares me.

I posted what I could find of one UFO that was very blurry and I stated that in my post. I also stated if you looked at it very hard it was an example of the rings on this UFO that I was trying to point out. Regardless if you can't handle it don't look at it skip my post .... easy there, Im guessing they may seem unstable, but alot of people love ufology and out of their passion want to engage in the discussion but dont know how or where to begin. So they post some questionable material to those of us who are veterans of these boards. But to them its mind blowing to post a thread, their ice breaker so to speak.

not everyone can post something new but at the same time those people want to get involved and feel an inner need to contribute to the community. It would be a crime to take that away from them.

Well first off there is no way to test for chemical imbalances in the brain, if they could there would be real way to diagnose mental disorders and real treatments to address the issue, but that is for another thread. Just saying you were abducted by george washington on his space ship does not make you "crazy". Now when you are caught in the bathroom taking a knife, hammer and pliers to your (or anothers) head to get the alien implants out that is more of what i think is meant by serriously ill and sick.

Well, I was just stating it from an alien's viewpoint. So, try to look at it from ET's view. Maybe they wanted to analyze our chemical makeup and maybe they found an imbalance in one of their abductees, then ran "tests" on him. That's all. I don't know how they test for imbalances besides obvious symptoms associated with the disease. I was just turning this over in my brain. However, maybe you're right.

Now, what if a schizo DID get abducted, would we discredit the story?
