Air Force Bugbots -- Micro Air Vehicle (MAVs) buglike drones.

I came across this a couple of days ago and couldn't find anything on ATS about it, the USAF has developed a new form of Micro Air Vehicles (MAV) that is just incredible.

If you've ever wanted to be a proverbial "Fly on the wall" have a look at this short video:

video.designworldonline.com...

As most ATS'ers I'm certainly not an advocate of wonderful Big Brothers spying on its own people, but you have to admit that this is pretty cool!

Pretty cool i guess, they couldve made it look more bug like instead of making it look like an 80's Pager with wings and 3D glasses...FAIL!

Very cool and very invasive if they want to make them so. Nothing a shotgun won't fix.

Oh c-mon...
at least make some sport to it, and get one at 800yds hovering, or better yet in direct in-line path towards or away from you...run Forest run...
All I can say is they better be pretty fast, leading a moving target, is a new kind of fun IMO
God forbid I get a view or knowledge of the fuel containment area and/or types

ETA I'm not too brite I just realized the actual size of these things ...yikes!

I still think this is a good and bad thing at the same time.

BAD for obvious reasons.
GOOD for the opportunity to shoot down one of these things or simply catch one and try to figure out how to make one!

Or If i was paranoid about one following me i would just travel with a tarantula and have it create webs everywhere i go to trap it.

THERE! problem solved.
