Is that your standard reply when you cannot support your side of the argument? Look you should really lsten to the speech Reagan gave regardless of how you feel for him. He makes a very good case for the dangers of letting government get directly involved in our healthcare.

No, its my standard reply when someone is deflecting and trying to pull me off topic because they cant discuss the topic at hand. which is, without a doubt, what you have done for the last dozen posts.

I have heard the speech. Not impressed.

Is voodoo economics and official term? What do you think Reagan did, took a tiki doll and stuck pins in it to turn the economy around? I wish it was that easy.

So wait, you are here talking about how great reagan was, and you dont even know what voodoo economics are? It was his entire economic philosophy.

Ever heard of the Laffer Curve?

Good lord, im arguing someone who isnt even educated on the topic they brought up

Well thanks for listening to the speech. There is no such thing as voodoo economics, that is deragatory liberal slang for supply side economics. I don't like to use such negative language.

Oh and the Laffer Curve in in regards to taxable income elasticity. It makes sense, except for now you could expand the concept to industry. In that not only will people offshore their money in times of high tax and high regulation they will now offshore the whole business in times of high tax and high regulation. Kind of helps you understand why ths country keeps loosing jobs.

You're absolutely right, captaintyknknowts. It was Bush Sr. who used the team. People aren't buying trickle down voodoo economics anymore and neither are we impressed with this tired old fear-mongering around socialized medicine. It isn't the 80's anymore.

Someone here is way out of their league and doesn't even know the history of the tired old GOP corpse he is attempting to resurrect.

LOL, I don't think I am trying to resurrect his corpse. I just thought it was a good speech and thought I would share it. If I was going to raise the dead I would probably try to crack that Nancy Pelosi nut.

Could you just imagine if I did raise up zombified Alzheimer ridden Reagan. Now that would make the news.
It would probably kind of be lke Achmed the dead terrorist but without the turbin.
