I've read the same thing then you (in the newspaper). 2 guys from Miramax started a company that will distribute it, bought what had to be bought from Disney or something like that, and the funding will go to some charity organisation.

I guess America will be able to see the movie afterall.

Some link google found.

I think all this controversy is going to make him rich just like mel gibson movie, Is just a way to make the public want to see it. It is probably a sorry movie after all.

The movie will commence screening all around the civilized world in mid-July, on schedule.

However in the US, distribution is still being negotiated and bids are coming in. If it's not the Miramax execs buying it out from Eisner, then it could be the Weinsteins, or other as yet unidentified firms. It is commercially a tremendously viable proposition, what Palme d'Or winner hasn't been?

Of course, it could still be censored and boxed away. Such is the USA, 2004.

The contents of the movie will be eye-opening. Many of them may be known to Americans all, even those in denial, but concentrating them in a sub-120 minute package in a decidely non-network way is the gift the movie brings to the masses.

I hope this new movie is a little bit better the "Bowling for Columbine". That movie was a steaming pile of dog crap from beginning to end.

Check it out....

I'm hoping that Michael Moore tries telling the truth in this film. After all, they are documentaries, not liberal wet dreams about evil Republicans. Actual facts can be very helpful.

I disagree with what I have read about the movie/book. He seems to exagerate the story just to make it controversial enough so more people will feel the need to either buy the book or watch the movie.
