The movie will commence screening all around the civilized world in mid-July, on schedule.
However in the US, distribution is still being negotiated and bids are coming in. If it's not the Miramax execs buying it out from Eisner, then it
could be the Weinsteins, or other as yet unidentified firms. It is commercially a tremendously viable proposition, what Palme d'Or winner hasn't
been?
Of course, it could still be censored and boxed away. Such is the USA, 2004.
The contents of the movie will be eye-opening. Many of them may be known to Americans all, even those in denial, but concentrating them in a sub-120
minute package in a decidely non-network way is the gift the movie brings to the masses.
