Is the no. 1 conspiracy theory of all times, that human beings are incapable of leaving this planet?

Stop and think, and don't ask for links, what if this planet was really a prison planet because of radiation?

Obama has cancelled the back to the moon program. Some Russian scientists have said that they never went to the moon because of the radiation, and because they didn't "have Hollywood".

To me this is the biggest conspiracy now. We are stuck here, on this planet. Maybe robots can leave, but we will never leave.

I never thought of it like this. The Earth being the only safe place from space radiation...
Well I could see it gasses escaping from other plants have to go somewhere...

Another interesting story, I almost died yesterday. Looking for my stove's "infinite switch" I disconnected the front panel. 220 volts. I heard my mother calling to me. Mohito! Mohito! Go into the light.

But I wasn't myself I was a young boy riding his bike in Ryden Park in BAFB. Then I was in a theatre as my special cat Lu Key (15) was sitting on my lap in a huge theatre and he jumped off. Anywhoo I am back now.

Got up, reconnected the stove in the dark with a flashlight in my mouth, watched WWE RAW, got drunk, stuffed myself and fell asleep.

Sorry, but when the US went to the moon, the USSR was in no way shape or form going to let them fake it. Younger generations dont understand the lunar landing as it was. A big freaking deal. Russia had the tech to make sure we didnt lie and they certainly wouldnt have let us or helped rofl.

I dunno I'm not sure...

A couple of inches of lead is much more effective than a magnet and some air IMO (even given the size). We are able to shield nuclear reactors and dangerous isotopes with certain materials. How much more damage can the sun (93 million miles away) or rare extrasolar cosmic rays do? Besides, even if it took 100 inches of lead, it is simply a matter of throwing enough money at it to launch the shielding. It certainly is possible for humans to survive out there.

Surely the international space station is proof that we have left the planet?

Ok fair enough we are not on another planet or moon, but we have technically left the prison..

To many it may seem a prison but it was spoke of in the Bible first that we are bound to this planet, meant to be the stewards of it and designed to worship the One true
God.

I was speaking with an older gentleman that I worked with 7 years ago.We were both security guards at a gated community and would ride around on patrol and have some good talks.

I live in Southern California and of course we all know that at one time there were lot of company's in the aerospace business located here and the industry employed thousands of engineers.

He was one of them.His background was working on components that were in the Apollo capsule and are in the space shuttle.Yes,he worked on and help design the waste system on both craft.

I asked him one time in our discussion why we just gave up on outer space travel after we had gone to the moon and came back and proved that we could travel in space even if it was just near by.

He said something on the lines of it had opened up a Pandora's box of sorts.I asked him what that meant.He said just because we have the ability does not mean we should.I looked at him and he asked me if I knew the story of the tower of Babel. I said I did from the bible.

He said there was other versions of the story that the tower was not a tower but a rocket ship.

I asked him to explain himself.He said we were so engrossed in the race to conquest space that we did not know the effects the powerful liquid fueled rockets would have on the atmosphere.

Particularly,the exhaust residue that is expelled in to the exosphere.The Saturn rocket which was used was and still is the biggest rocket man has built. They had to be because of the amount of thrust needed to get away from of the earths gravity and reach escape velocity.

The first Apollo flights were just near earth journeys and they used only the first two stages.Only the moon missions used three stages. The primary liquid propellant used to power the rocket is liquid Hydrogen in the form of a highly concentrated Hydrogen Peroxide.

The main gases within the Earth's exosphere are the lightest gases, mainly hydrogen, with some helium, carbon dioxide, and atomic oxygen near the exobase. The exosphere is the last layer before space. Since there is no clear boundary with space and the exosphere, the exosphere is sometimes used synonymously with outer space.

The scientists found that each time the rockets passed through this boundary the exhaust gasses that were being expelled were left in the exosphere.It was causing the exosphere to erode and to shrink.This was not something that could be repaired.The size of the exosphere is relevant to the size of the earth.It must be maintained to sustain life on earth.

It was also allowing more UV light to reach the earth through the atmosphere.

They also knew if we continued past the present program that it would deteriorate to the point of being catastrophic to all life on earth.There was no way they could continue this quest without destroying the environment and eventually all life.

He said the effects of the little damage done can be seen in the increase of skin cancer and cataracts from the higher levels of UV light coming through the atmosphere.All which have increased after we went to the moon.

I will reiterate if I haven't already I am not a scientist. I am just relating what one said to me.

He said there was a lot of depression with this realization that until we as a human race developed a less "caustic" mode of exploring space we would have to stay here exploring only the near earth region of the planet.

That is why we shifted to the space shuttle and the ISS and Hubble.

There was a concerted effort NOT to let the public(us peons)to know that we could not leave this planet until we had come up with a safe way too.

But to insure the next generations did not forget what they had learned they made it more difficult to duplicate what they had done.

There are NO blueprints of the Saturn rockets or the components to build them.

Also the Apollo capsule and moon rovers.Nothing was kept and filed away.It was all destroye because it was old technology and deemed unimportant.

If they wanted to build one today they would have to disassemble one of the few still existing and basically reverse engineer it.

It would take a lot of money and time.

Time we have money we do not.Look at the money wasted so far and we have gotten squat out of it.

The heatshield they wanted to use on the moon capsule today,NO existing company in the U.S. has the technology to make it.Since none unused exists today they can't examine one.The company that build it went out of business along time ago.

I think this is conspiracy of knowledge to keep the simple people of the world optimistic that we will be able to travel to the stars in our life time.What would it be like if the powers that be told us you can't go there it will kill us all.

I don't have any idea if any of this was true.He believed it was though.Will modern mans obsession to reach to the stars beyond our sphere be our tower of babel?
