Starting a three day raw foods diet

I have been getting migraines bad recently, like the past twelve months. I've been told it may be I have liver issues, so starting March seventh I will be eating only raw foods for three days and drinking mainly teas(herbal) and water to cleanse my system, this also means the day before I have to stop smoking for the 24 hours before and for the next three days after that. I was wondering if anybody here has done this kind of dietary cleanse and had positive results? I am taking my chances I cannot afford to go to hospitals and doctors.

I'd like to know also, if anybody here has any tips for me, any suggestions about this kind of diet or any other that may work better.

Well last night it got soooo bad I was forced,literally by my hubby and my Best friend to go have it looked at in the ER. Well I had an abcess and sinusitis. I got a prescription for amoxicillian 875 mg, filled it today and took it at ten am. At 2pm, the abcess burst and the nasty crap went straight down my throat but my headaches are gone!

I know what you have to eat A LOT. So I think you may need to stock up on more fresh fruits and veggies then you think.

Or maybe to fill you up, a little protein powder wouldn't hurt. YOu still need protein to for your muscles.

As nixie_nox said, you still need proteins, but you can get them from soybeans.

I would imagine you are going on a raw, not-cooked, diet.
Where fruits and veggies take place of all other items.
Large amounts of greens, use fruits sparingly because of the sugar content, and stick to starches for energy from the carbohydrates.
Potatoes, yes you can eat some potatoes raw. Not all though.

Eat nuts, berries, and honey!

All the advice I can muster for now.

Nice to hear that you are concerned about your health!

I actually started a fruit fast today Monday 22 and planning to keep it going for a week straight!

You gotta have a leveled PH.

Good luck wit your awakening!

P.S- Stay close to the bathroom. Ive been reading that lately.

Your better off steaming your veg or microwaving your veg. The human body cannot break down the cell walls of foods. Gently steaming them or microwaving them is the best way to cook the veg because it breaks down the cell walls of the veg while keeping the majority of nutrients in the food.
