Clinton criticized for dodging question on Israel nukes

www.presstv.ir

If the Americans "so vehemently oppose Iran's nuclear program," she had asked, "then why isn't the US asking Israel to give up their nuclear weapons?"

So this Zionist tool goes around talking about peace and dodges the very question that needs to be answered. I think it's the golden question that hasn't been answered yet and must be answered. What utter disrespect for this woman-beast to appear to bring peace into the region whiles rejecting questions which could lead to such. I can't wait for the collapse of this intoxicating ZOG hypocrisy.

It is no secret that Israel has nukes, everyone practically is aware of that. However, the government has not officially confirmed or denied that fact. Moreover, I think Mordecai Vanunu officially confirmed the simple truth when he went to the British Press in 1986 to discuss his role as an employee at a secret nuclear site near Dimona and the development of weapons of mass destruction there. The Israeli government went long and far to gag and neutralize him. He was abducted in Italy by the Mossad and brought back to Israel and imprisoned.

He was subsequently lured to Italy by a Mossad spy, where he was drugged and kidnapped by Israeli intelligence operatives.[1] He was transported to Israel and ultimately convicted in a secret trial.[1] Regarded by peace activists as a hero for taking a stand against weapons proliferation,[3] Vanunu has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize multiple times.[4]

Vanunu spent 18 years in prison, including more than 11 years in solitary confinement. Released from prison in 2004, he became subject to a broad array of restrictions on his speech and movement. Since then he has been briefly arrested several times for violations of those restrictions, including giving various interviews to foreign journalists and attempting to leave Israel. He says that he suffered "cruel and barbaric treatment" at the hands of Israeli authorities while imprisoned, and suggests that his treatment would have been different if he had been Jewish (Vanunu is a Christian convert from Judaism)

So, with a response like that by the Israeli government, he was disclosing information about a very sensitive subject. If he was lying, they would have not gone to extreme measures to apprehend Vanunu and silence him through imprisonment. Furthermore, high level Israeli government officials have essentially said they have nuclear weapons, but while only alluding to it.

For example, first we have former Prime Minister, Shimon Peres, commenting on the nuclear weapons subject to the Jordanian Press. Some observers of the subject claim that he has been involved with the development and procurement of a nuclear deterrent for Israel since the very beginning.

In July 1998 Shimon Peres was quoted in the Jordan Times as saying, “We have built a nuclear option, not in order to have a Hiroshima, but to have an Oslo,”[110] referring to the peace process.

Next, we have former Israeli Primer Minister, Ehud Olmert, having the famous "Freudian Slip," when discussing Iran's nuclear aspirations, and indirectly confirms Israel's own nuclear deterrent.

The only thing we have tried to do is to live without terror, but we have never threatened anyone with annihilation. Iran explicitly, openly and publicly threatens to wipe Israel off the map."

"Can you see that is the same level when you are aspiring to have a nuclear weapon as America, France, Israel and Russia?" he asked.

The Iranians know that the Israelis have nuclear weapons as with the rest of the world. Hilary Clinton is not going to put an ally into diplomatic hamstring by commenting on a sensitive subject as well as giving her remarks the official seal of the US government given her office as Secretary of State. However, it is practically confirmed by what happened with the Vanunu case and the mention of it by high level Israeli government officials. In other words, the cat has been out of the bag for a long time.

If the Americans "so vehemently oppose Iran's nuclear program," she had asked, "then why isn't the US asking Israel to give up their nuclear weapons?" The student has questioned Washington's double standard toward Iran's nuclear program and accused Washington of hypocrisy.

I believe in this portion of the article they were referring to the student asking Clinton about the weapons. Not Clinton saying this about Israel's nukes. Just to clarify that for you. The student was a she.

Of course Clinton would dodge the question. Do you think her masters would let her spout off about peace and what not if she didn't keep quiet about Israel's nukes? I am glad that the student had the wherewithal to mention it!

Although no official statistics exist, it has been estimated that Israel possesses up to 400 thermonuclear weapons, believed to be of Teller-Ulam design, including strategic warheads in the megaton-range. Delivery mechanisms include Jericho intercontinental ballistic missiles, with a range of 11,500 km. Additionally, Israel is believed to have an offshore nuclear second-strike capability, using submarine launched nuclear-capable cruise missiles. The Israeli government maintains a policy of deliberate ambiguity on whether it has nuclear weapons, saying only that it would not be the first to "introduce nuclear weapons in the Middle East." Former International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Mohamed ElBaradei regarded Israel as a state possessing nuclear weapons. Israel has not signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. However, on July 13, 2008, Israel took part in a regional conference of the Union for the Mediterranean which pledged to pursue a Middle East Zone free of weapons of mass destruction.

en.wikipedia.org...

They also have chemical and biological weapons as well. If you visit the wikipedia link you can read all about it. I don't understand how our elected leaders can talk about the weapon proliferation of other countries and in the same breath tell us that we need to spend billions on intercontinental ballistic nuclear weapons. Disarm everyone and keep arming ourselves? To what end?

We need to realize how much money we spend on our own killing systems and use them resources to foment true peace around the world. Like freshwater and food resource technology with no strings attached. It is such a hypocritical policy we have that it is laughable...to tears.
