Roswells Spell

I was listening to one of my favorite bands new album, Sci Fi Crimes - Chevelle.

It's called Roswells Spell



Now albeit I haven't kept up on here as much as I'd like to of, college and 'other' stuff.

In the song though it mentions a "Dyad Scout Craft"? I tried googling it, and whether it be my inability to google appropriately, or that the internet is just filled with so much **** it's hard to sift through, I can't figure a good story about this, but since my favorite band deemed it worthy for a song, I'm extremely curious!

Also tried ATS search, just as useless

Apparently "Dyad" is in fact a word.

So maybe he means a scout craft that can split into 2 separate craft? This has been video taped several times before as well.
