A tantalizingly simply method of generating electric current is described in the link below. Layers of copper, aluminum and plexiglas exposed to a magnetic field. I'm not in a position to try to replicate this but I hope someone else can. See more information here.

A similar setup is described page 22 of chapter 3 from the same link as above.

According to everything we know, you can't get something from nothing.

I would argue that maybe you can get something from a source that isn't apparent to our current scientific knowledge.

As far as I know, electric current cannot be generated by simply exposing a conductor to a magnetic field, it must be moving.

After all, that's all what we call "electricity" is.

Movement.

If one truly grasps what electricity is, one would understand that it is simply a form of mechanical movement.

How can you make something move without pushing it?

Don't bother to argue, simply reproduce this design for yourself and the proof will be in the pudding.......so to speak.

I do believe it is possible to tap a source unknown to us at this time but I need to see it and I find it a little hard to swallow that only those who apparently don't even understand the basics can do it while those who have a firm grasp on electrical principles can't.

In The Secret World of Magnets, Howard Johnson, a pioneer in magnet research, discovered that magnetic fields rotate as well as move from north to south. So there is movement.

Maybe you don't know as much about magnetism as you think you do.

It's a nice idea. But trying to get people on here to build free energy devices is like pulling teeth. I mean, I can't even pay people to do it!

Oh well........

This seems similar to Orbo technology. A relatively new development by british scientists. Here's the link:

I completely agree. I probably don't.

I hope I don't!

Could you not build this device and settle the debate?
