Could anyone be the Miatreya? Think about it, could your neighbor be this mysterious teacher?

Yes! Putin could be Maitreya or Alex Jones or Obama. How is this possible? Maitreya is not a singular person or prophet like Christ or Mohammed. Rather it is a "spirit" that descends on someone and performs a teaching and departs.

It's kinda like a benign possession from another realm. The Maitreya speaks truth and wisdom and then departs from it's human vessel. This teaching I think is Hindu in origin.

Any human could be momentarily possessed by this spirit of divine revelation or truth. Makes some sense.

Jesus warned of false prophets in the final days, anyone who says they are a prophet in this day and age- WATCH OUT- they are not, they are frauds.

I wouldn't care who this Matrieya is- I've got my own problems to focus on, and if some 'teacher' shows up and tells me to jump off a cliff or to become a communist or a neo-capitalist, forget it.

And, in no way, shape or form could Obama actually be the teacher

IMHO this is very much like the ancient Greeks who believed that their gods, which came from the stars, could take on human form.

This Matreiya strikes me as one who would be Krishnamurti-esque, and he would be celibate, though he would be unknown even unto himself.
