Anyone ever thaught about how easily information is accessed over the internet....

Mention any of these words on google and the results are as follows

Weapons
Results 1 - 10 of about 63,100,000 for weapons [definition]. (0.23 seconds)

Obama
Results 1 - 10 of about 181,000,000 for obama. (0.13 seconds)

Narcotics
Results 1 - 10 of about 5,480,000 for Narcotics [definition]. (0.31 seconds)

there are so many key logging programs, I.P address loggers and we think that we are so safe, yes we have fire walls and virus detection programs, but who's to say that they havent designed operating systems that work within windows and we are completely oblivious to, think about it why do you have to register you copy of windows online. So all they are doing is developing the bait, and we are using it unaware....



Banking Details, Security Codes, ID numbers, Telephone numbers and so forth.

They already have devices on mobile network that picks up any distress call or threat, why is it so hard to believe that it cant be done over the internet....

First let me point out that every google search you make is sent unencrypted over the internet. The privacy level is pretty much the same as that of a postcard - the text is easily readable by intermediaries and each packet contains your internet address.

Second, google of course is quite capabile of recording all your search results. In fact, their business model depends on them gathering vast amounts of data from their users. They are free to use that information, within their terms of services and the laws laid down by the government with regard to privacy.

As for of banking over the internet, please be sure you're using an 'https' connection instead of 'http'. That's encrypted instead of plaintext. Of couse, no encryption should be absolutely trusted, and even secure connections can be vulnerable to man in the middle attacks.

You're spot-on about key loggers, rootkits, etc. Virtualization technology (in software and in hardware) is indeed scary, even to security professionals. Here's a comprehensive, if somewhat technical, introduction: part 1 part 2 part 3. Part 2 is particularly interesting.

Just really scary, knowing that we are so easily accessible to all the PTB, we do it freely everyday, entering passwords and personal data as to our where abouts.

Facebook out of all things, great way to connect people, but why was google so bound on buying it, so that they can have access and photos of every single one of you... every time some one tags you, your name is linked to you photo, over and over again, and we are toooo far gone to do anything about it....
