Howdy from Washington State

Hey how's it goin'? My name's Mark and I'm a 22 year old guy from Washington state. Aside from trying to establish a sustainable lifestyle I love to hike, camp, play music and wrench on the Jeep.

I've been lurking here since around November of last year when I began to get a strong internal urge to start researching what exactly is going on out there and start preparing for it.

After reading many articles, I need to start talking with most of you. Something big is going to happen, and I'd like to have at least a better idea of what it is.


Anybody else here from the Evergreen state?

hey, skidmark, baby....
i used to hang out around concrete and the skagit river...eagles everywhere. chased bear up on a mountaintop off I-90 40 something mile marker. if you want to go get my 30.06 i left up there in a backpack with ammo and a knife...let meknow, i'll show ya where it is. just a two hour hike easy hike and it's up on a skree field. i left the barrell sticking 6 inches out...rusty, huh!

That sounds like it would be a great treasure hunt. I'm definitely interested in attempting to retrieve your gun and pack. Why'd you leave it up there?

i was bear hunting that spot and it saves hiking in and out with the rifle....i can get you to it with gps, too also it's the coolest hike.

I don't have a GPS, but I have been looking into them. I'm great with maps and directions though. How long's that stuff been up there?

so here goes,
Wagtail at your service - I'm from the LandDownUnder and love the outdoors...
am heaps keen to brush up some survival skills etc and am an avid birdwatcher too.
